So basically since this video was posted in May of '08, all these comments about the side blades and exhaust mean nothing.......even the douche bag down there who says he owns one. Just because you have money enough to buy the car and know what it looks like sitting in your tiled garage doesn't mean you know Jack about the car you're driving....

Actually, in February-March of '08 Audi did have prototypes of the V-10 in the V-8 body. I was a tech at a dealership at the time on the Florida west coast. It looked exactly like this one and even had a "4.2 FSI" engine trim panel on it. It was mostly a corporate car that they would give to high roller clients that would have it for an extended test drive. One customer had one for up to 2 weeks.

Thats the V10 guys. Its the same engine as in the Gallardo and u can obviously hear it sounds like a Gallardo. The V8 had a deep growl to the exhaust, this obviously wasnt. Its the v10.

V8 4.2 FSI = 4 endrohre (exhaustpipes)

V10 5.2 FSI= 2 ovale endrohre (exhaustpipes)

dann gibts noch etliche andere unterschiede: LED scheinwerfer und sideblades, endrohre sind aber am einfachsten...

It's the V10. Audi gave a couple V10 R8s to current R8 owners so they could test it out. They took them back when they found this vid. Plus just listen to the car, doesn't sound anything like the V8 engine, and sounds more like the S6/S8. Also look at the exhaust tips, not the same as the regular R8, and exactly the same as V10 R8's spied on the N'ring.
