14 years ago at my Grandma's funeral surprised everyone by getting a bagpiper nobody knew until we got to the gravesite.. I remember it so clearly. He played amazing grace and when Irish eyes are smiling.. Id like to think Grandma was looking down on us and smiling I am sure she got a kick out of that! I love her and miss her always

A piper played the same song at my grandfather's funeral. I was only in my teens but have never seen more strong grown men brought to tears. Must a have been a huge loss for you so thanks for posting, helps me remember my grandfather and all the good he brought to this world.

We had Danny Boy and amaztng grace by the bagpipes at my Husband funeral.When we pulled up at his burial to see the bagpipes and the Army Guard at Jefferson Bks was so touching. He was A Irish Cathlic Cop.Rest in peace Michael.

My uncle just died a couple weeks ago and his mom came right from Scottland, they had a bagpiper come and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Now whenever I hear the bagpipes in amazing grace it makes me ball my eyes out.
