Yes, send me your email address & I will send it. It is pretty noisy watching on HDTV above 32 inches. Although I got a marginal recording mono recording, it did capture some of the night. They now have a Canon Point & Shoot with Low light settings, stereo 1080.
Favourite song of the new album. Possibly one of my favourites overall right now as well. I just saw them on Tuesday, and met them all after the show. Greatest night of my life. Not many things can top that.
hey bhop2112, i was wondering if i could get this song from you on disc, that was me that got kicked off stage lol, was an awesome show and i was a bit tipsy lol I live in austin as well. something to show my kids when they get older. I made it with perfect timing barely messing up the song, I've watched this a billion times. A friend actually told me this was on here. thanks bro
@waz416 1. The Devil's Orchard 2. I Feel The Dark 3. Face of Melinda 4. Porcelain Heart 5. Pyre 6. The Throat of Winter 7. Patterns in the Ivy II 8. Harvest 9. Closure 10. Slither 11. A Fair Judgement 12. Hex Omega 13. Folklore
Skexis64: Luckily, Opeth played a clean set without the overload of distortion. Hence, I managed to videotape the entire concert with one minor mistake. When I watched in mono, it was a pretty good recording given the circumstances and shakiness of the camera. I loved that night. It will be a fond memory. Email me at: ensnared4@gmail.com & I can send you the DVD once it is made, if you like.
Indeed. Great night! Plenty of the softer passages are some of Opeth's best work. Face of Melinda was the highlight of the evening for me..I only wish they'd played some Morningrise..Black Rose Immortal or The Night and the Silent Water would've been amazing to finally hear live. Katatonia closing out their set with Without God..couldn't have asked for more! Great night.
What a phenomenal night & first time experience for this fan. I might add that I always thought Austin crowds enjoyed music, and they do. But, the more subtle interludes, acoustical work and quiet tones seemed to escape several of the metal heads present. These ftrolls could not curtail their vacuous remarks during the softer passages. You always find these "rock and roll" cretins in every audience. This was a truly magical night.
@ensnared I was at the concert, and I've loved Opeth since I started listening in 2002 or so, but I always loved the contrast between the death and the classical...it's like the band's calling card. Saying I'm going to miss it (even if we trade it for great songs like Lines in My Hand, I Feel the Dark, or Devil's Orchard), is an understatement.

I was there too, such an amazing night. Still impressed with how Mikael recovered from being distracted like a champ!
