Well said Valerie, I BELIEVE YOU !!!! And yes, the truth will come out one day !
Elvis didn't die August 16th 1977. Elvis is still with us here on Earth! He did what he had to do at the time. I know he is missing his fans though! The truth will come out eventually!! If you want to chat you can write me on here or find me on facebook, it's under my name Valerie Wills Presley.. God Bless and as Elvis says TCB - - - valerieleepresley 3 months ago
Oh my God, my daughter sang this song for me in sign language when she was 8 and in 2nd gr. I cried my eyes out. After that I thought this song was the most beautiful I ever heard; always reminds me of my baby singing to me. Now I have Elvis to hear singing it (pretty much). I'm greatful for whoever made this extremely beautiful song to relate to Elvis. Thank you
No respectful doctor is going to do plastic surgery on a man who is dying of cancer. That is the reason for the melting of what appeared to be wax on the face.

The guitar is a 1963 Gibson Super 400 CES. The guitar actually belonged to his guitar player Scotty Moore and even without the Elvis connection is considerably more valuable than the Epiphone mentioned. Elvis borrowed it to play several songs. Scotty sold the guitar to a collector for $10,000. The guitar was then sold to the Hard Rock Cafe, and is currently on display at the Hard Rock in Memphis, Tennessee.

I really don't care if you believe this could be Elvis or not. Whom ever this is he's a wonderful sound a-like to Elvis! What is inspiring to me ... is that there continues to be men that sing his songs or try to sing like Elvis...they keep his memory ALIVE and for that,... I Thank them! God Bless you for your gift.
Very beautiful tribute to a well deserved gentleman of all the gentle men I have ever had the privilrdge of knowing in my spirit. Thank you for a job well done and a song well sung. Hugs Bobbie
No one can be 100% certain on who this is. Keep your minds and hearts open ok?! This is beautiful. And to the one who did this song (you know who you are and so do I) AWESOME JOB!!
I have read into this and discovered it's Jon Burrows/Jon Smith Burrows, something like that. The only two names I could find. It's not Doug Church. The voice prints of this have been tested and match Mr. Presley. It's very strange and curious indeed.
The picture often credited to these recordings is an old man that is for sure, in my mind, Elvis/Jesse. The same sagging cheeks and all.
Also, Google Image search "Jon Burrows". The first image there is the photo I am talking about. That has been the only image of this mysterious Jon Burrows for ages.
Here on YouTube there is a video called 'Elvis at the Speffy club'. Go to that video, pause at 0:18, and you'll see that he and Jon Burrows are the same man. Identical, minus the beard. Even those teeth, that exact grin. Hell, even the ring on his left hand and the watch on his left wrist. The same.
That man in the video was traveling by the name of Jon Smith. There is another video about him, showing his writing. The writing is the same as Elvis', and Elvis' writing is also the same as Linda Hood Sigmon's Jesse. They're all the same man, at the end of the day, in my view. Interesting that Jon Smith/Jon Burrows called himself the "Eternal Colonel".
To steal a line from a young girl called Alice, 'Curiouser and curiouser'.

Read what certain people from the Memphis Mafia have said in books and things about a "dying double".
@my2010blessingsr4u Dont forget how amazing Elvis was, read the part about not sounding this good at his current age, Hey How Can You Not Stop For A Second And Wonder, What If He Just Continued To Climb The Ladder Of Greatness, E Just Possibly Could Sound As If He Had The Voice Of GOD, And Let It Rain Down On The World And The Entire World Would Stop And Listen Each Time He Even Spoke!!!!! 8-D 8-D
You are right in some regards. I am not sure if this one singing here is Elvis, he sounds similar to some elderly male singers I've heard (one is my own Grandfather) in terms of throatiness and such. Then again, he would have been in his sixties when this was released. These songs come from a mysterious CD that circulated in the mid-90s, I believe.
It was tested years ago by many people, and most came to the conclusion that this voice did not match Doug's. Who is it, then? Arion?
I heard Ann Jillian sing this song on a Bob Hope USO Show way back in 1983 and she made us all cry - US Marines don't cry easy - but we loved Ann singing this song. Her arrangement is like no other - it's awesome! Thanks for posting this but I sure wish you could post Ann Jillian's version.
wow this is really good. thanks for posting it and many thanks to all the guys who keeps elvis memories alive . truely a beautiful song .. cant get any better than this
DON'T WHANT TO JOIN YOUR FAN CLUB , JUST A MESSAGE TO SAY YOU'RE GOOD KID!. WHY DON'T YOU TRY ELIVIS SINGS JENNIFER RUSH,'THE POWER OF LOVE'NOW THERES A CHALLENGE.THIS TIME THE DILDOL GAVE YOU A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB.
then go somewhere else and DON'T listen to them. That is your choice. For those who loves Elvis and Doug them we want to listen to them that is our choice. SO go listen to whom ever you like to listen to and stop wasting your time doing what you hate to do. Life too short to waste time on things we find unnecessary and unwanted in our lives"
To those of you who don't know who is singing it is Doug Church...he has an awesome cd called "Kingtinued" it is of songs that Elvis might of done. Bet I can guess who this song would of been dedicated too!

'Others' who know Elvis' death was a hoax!? Pretty damn elaborate dude.
I'm sorry but how can you possibly believe Elvis faked his death?
First, he enjoyed being Elvis. He would never have given up all he worked for.
Second, he would never have hurt his family or fans by deceipt.
Third, you just have to see the genuine sadness on the face of his father, friends and family at the time.
Get real and stop kidding yourself. Elvis, sadly, is gone.

How can I possible believe Elvis faked his death?
Let's just say I've obviously seen things you haven't. You should look around more.
Elvis is a friend of a friend.
First, he did NOT enjoy being Elvis. He would have gladly given up all he worked for to strive for the real reason he was working in the first place ... to become a spiritual being.
Second, he had major threats to his family. "If we can't cut off your head we'll cut off Little Lisa Marie's", mobs said.

Third, only 6 people were in on it. Elvis really was found "dead" on the bathroom floor after taking a little something similar to puffer fish toxin and using his knowledge from karate to stop his vital signs. An autopsy was indeed performed on a man who had died from bone cancer but had already had plastic surgery to look like Elvis. His family are still being taken care of by Graceland and are wealthy now.
Elvis' Father Vernon actually died thinking his son was dead BTW.

LOTS OF LOVE LENNY DYLAN.

Good, the opening is as close as you'll get, the chorus Elvis would have let it rip.
The best though is Elvis sings Bad Company !!Can't Get Enough of Your Love.Wouldn't be out of place on 'Moody Blue'.
One thing though Elvis, would never have said 'Good God'.

This is Shit!
I cannot stand Elvis tribute acts!
There's only one Elvis!

then go somewhere else and DON'T listen to them. That is your choice. For those who loves Elvis and Doug them we want to listen to them that is our choice. SO go listen to whom ever you like to listen to and stop wasting your time doing what you hate to do. Life too short to waste time on things we find unnecessary and unwanted in our lives"
