Atlee only managed to achieve what he did because the Americans under the Marshall plan gave him a massive loan which we have only just managed to pay off. Blair was a frankly awful PM, and together with Brown, he is mostly responsible for the problems this country faces in terms of social and economic breakdown. Thatcher was the greatest Prime Minister this country has ever had, and is ever likely to have.
