@TakeYouToSchool it depends on the hardcore/hardstyle, hardstyle is very melodic with a more of a "happy" kick, but alot of hardstyle is harder than hardcore, but then again alot of it isnt, hardcore is a pretty diverse genre. varying from rotterdam hardcore to Uk hardcore. all depends on what ur into :) hardcore's got something for everyone :D. personaly i think hardstyle/hardcore are pretty even in the "hardness-o-metre" but hardstyle isnt as dark.
