Oh for those who don't know, the republicans pushed through the civil rights legislation, not Johnson. And, if you don't know the policies and continued impacts of the democratic party is racist, not the republicans.

@grandeTO9 Well what I am trying to do is make a point. I am sick and tired of black people being treated like animals or children by the democrats 'oh you're black, so YOU MUST vote us!' and black people who choose to vote republicans are feeling left out as they keep getting all this crap. Grouping people by thought and agreement is a more valid way of creating a group than grouping them by their skin colour which only has a 0.001% difference from the white man etc.

I don't think race matters, it's only like 0.001% of our DNA, what matters is the fact that we can agree on most things I think that is what combines us and creates our own group, not the colour of our skin as skin colour is no different from hair colour in the DNA, people have free minds and are diverse, so it annoys me when democrats try to imply that blacks aren't welcome to be republicans as it's nonsense!

@waffiki Black people don't want to be nor do they need to be "accepted" by white people. What many black people want is to have their values represented in the government and what many of them find is that the party they've been affiliated with for so long does not represent them so. Nobody is "saying no to health care". What they're saying no to is the idea that the federal government should have any say what so ever in their personal health care.

To call them an uncle tom or to accuse them of backstabbing the african american race because they studied? no the problem is the media. they make sure they make a big deal for negative aspect of black people and do not talk a lot about the goods.

most black who join the republican party are those who do not like to pay tax, including some of my family member, they think why share money with the losers? what they do not know is the money is programmed, the one on top knows how to distribute it.

@waffiki how do "they" tax? The way the system was built was that all people would be equally taxed. Which is fair for those who actually have jobs and money. Those that don't have jobs, money, or property don't get taxed, why? Because they have nothing. Every product you buy practically has a tax to it. on a separate note: If you concider the money that's out there, and the amount of people who have it or earn it, why is this country bankrupt?
