I think many people have the idea that a lake is something a little larger than a fish pond hahah, clearly there are lakes , and there are LAKES. Now exctly the difference between a great lake and a sea, I am not so sure what it is, so I am off to Go Ogle. I need to know Thanks nancy you do it again hahahahaha.55555

A lake is a body of water that is completely enclosed by land.Size varies,of course an example is Lake Erie,in Michigan.A sea is a body of water that is PARTIALLY enclosed by water.(not totally enclosed by land) I.e. the Black Sea,Irish sea, North(whereas a lake is completly enclosed by land.)The difference between an Ocean /Sea,has nothing to do with size/depth merely that Oceans seperate the continents,their waters stretch from one continent to another,their waves reach one or more continents

This particular one, Lake Erie, is surrounded by U.S.A./Michigan on one side and Canada/Ontario on the other. This was taken from the Canadian side where I live.

Hi Pat...I have my father to thank from way back..oh 40 years ago at least...when the 8mm cameras were the big thing. I listened to him as he explained how to give 'movies' a beginning, middle, and end. "Continuity", he always said. LOL I think he would have enjoyed some of my videos..if he were still with us...maybe he still does...*soft smile*

The ocean looks suspiciously like the Pacific Ocean where I live-- in San Francisco. It's wild like that all the time. Is it like that all the time where you live? This is a wonderful video!

Hi Lee Ann...people say it looks like the ocean but it is a lake...Lake Erie...and it can become quite rough or very very calm. It's usually only like this during the fall or when a storm is brewing.
