interesting fact: lucky strike got it's name in ww2. due to the fact that they were made and smoked by pilots. when bombers would go on air raids and hit an important enemy target unintentionally, they'd call it a "lucky strike." i thought i'd share this with all you because i found this very interesting.
@seansvoice probably not i definitely see Chris Parnell from SNL in this commercial, and it says 1996 at the beginning so it is way more recent then 1968 unless Parnell has a double. Also the pilot looks like an actor from a bunch of 90's movies I just can't place him.
@ClintByrne That wasn't Chris Parnell...looked like him though. Also, the "1996" refers to the year of the compilation. Finally, I remember this spot from my childhood...
Whatever people say lucky-strikes didn't get there name in ww2 because they were made before the war even started!
