wheres all the scenary and detail in the rides? you have no idea how to build a proper theme park. take a look at these contest winner videos. you might learn something or everything :P oh and not to mention... when and where will there ever be land that flat to build on. think realistically when creating land.
i have a question: i have a totally amazing park with like 20 roller coasters which all have excitement ratings of over 9, and my park rating has been over 950 like the whole time my park has been open, and im on year 35. I ONLY HAVE LIKE 1050 GUESTS O_O how do you get more guests? is it because i build very slowly?
@lampshades120 could have many reasons for example the scenario aim or the scenario settings for example; in some parks ppl prefer more gentle rides with less excitement ratings so that you can have a great park rating but you only get the ppl in that like the rides with high excitement
tightly packed rides, easy to use paths for guests, and actually have an entrance fee so you can make money off of that so you can build more rides. you dont have nearly enough rides to make 15 thousand a month.
I got screwed one time. I left my game on for about 2 and a half real life hours and my park rating dropped to 0, but i still just decided to just build rollercoasters. Somehow right now, my parks rating is 999.
I would say that you did an overall good job, but one thing that you could have done better is use your space wiser, in the last screenshot it looked like almost half the park was wide open.
Have you ever reached the point where the park has reached its full capacity of coasters? It tells you you can't build anymore! Too many rides! Same with the staff numbers!
Considering how many rides you had I would think you would be getting a lot more than 8k a month. You're being nice to your guests... sap them for everything they have and put ATM machines everywhere!
lol wut get 15k of rides. Well well im doing a downloaded a mission and i must get 100K of rides. Im currently now getting 18K :P i know its hard and the park is 638k m2
in my ultimatemegasuperhydrapark my rating was always something 200-500,but theres only one rule in ultimatemegasuperhydrapark:Add toilets, okay i added toilets in one marketplace about 6-20 then my rating was 999 and never dropped, one tip for you(ps. in my ultimatemegasuperhydrapark was 9000 guests and that was 250x250 park,it taked over 2 year to builded that before my hard-drive crashed and files destroyed but luckily i repaired my hard drive and there was my ultimatemegasuperhydrapark.Lol :D
my current park has 4,500 guests, 999 park rating... I have 29 rides, from whom 24 are rollercoaster. I've been playing for a long time on this park, im currently in year 47.
You could have imporved by this way. The first ride you build must be a RUGE Rollercoaster, at the ende of the park, and in the entrance, build a few smaller rides. The guests will enter in your park and will automatically go to the rollercoaster. Put the prices always at the same value of the excitment rating. Like this: 4.80 excitiment, 4.80 $!!! sorry if i have a bad english
I would recomend more scenery. I usaly make my own maps/scenarios, and then I put in some start scenery så that I have something. I build a lot more when I start to play. You can boost the exitement rating on all rides with scenery close to them, and by doing that you can charge more.
I think you have an overall pretty well park. A couple things that will add some value, not a whole lot, is scenery. It makes it look appealing, and you can make it match with the rides. Also, I think your park needs to have a better flow to it; wider sidewalks, more shops/food, and to have it be a bit more spaced out. Also putting carnival rides next to eachother and next to the shops like in the center, then expand it with larger coasters all around the edges would be a good flow.
always raise the prices high on the rides that everyone is in line for more often. also check out which are most popular so that u can make food courts around where there are gonna be more ppl
WOW this is an awesome park. i dont think i would set my income that high, its too much 4 me. ive got a suggestion for you tho. (i built this, it got really popular really fast) its a ride called millennium force, and its at cedar point. build it as best you can from a picture, map, or you tube video.
Advice #2-Save your rides. When the reliability is way down and there is a big down-time, delete the ride and place your new coaster in the some position. You can do this any time you want!
@Nintendodude1994 yeah, it took me over 2 game-years to get from 3,000 to 3,100 guests and my park was developing so many serious problems. At the time of those last 3 screenshots, my park rating had dropped to only 600 and it was dropping fast.
I continued messing with the park until about halfway through Year 9, but by then the park was starting to lose guests even though I was creating several marketing campaigns and cleaning. My park rating had dropped to about 500 and i had 3050 guests
@mleverich1991 You can have more than 3000 guests. I have numerous ones with 5000+. And I've seen some with 6000+ You just have to have more pathways to spread out the guests so they don't get crowded. Everyone always tries to pack in entrances and exits to rides onto a small pathway but this actually causes more problems. I can send you some screenshots if you'd be interested.
@Nintendodude1994 You Can Get More Then 3000 guests e.g. on my own version six flags magic mountain i had 5500 guests But you need to spread out your park well
I like how you kept your fianances in-line. very nice park, but i would recommend putting more smaller rides toward the entrance, and bigger rides (aka rollercoasters) towards the back, that way guests might ride the smaller ones first then the rollercoasters. Increase the ride prices by the excitement rating, add lines accordingly to the excitement rating, and keeping the guests happy is a #1 priority, and you did that very well. Like button approved!
I've had 7,000 guests before.
