  • @ReconGuy1995 - "METAL RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Persistence of Time is one of the greatest and most underrated metal albums. If you want raw trash metal, this is your album. :-) Certainly since then I listen to Slayer, Viking metal and death and so on, but this album is a gem, must to listen once in your life.

  • Hello there

Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan

    1. We all shut the fuck up about Pop Music & other genre's

    2. We only make comments relevant to Anthrax & other metal bands

    3. We enjoy the fucking music!!!!

Too many ppl are givin metalheads a bad name!

  • how was this not on the greatest hits album

  • Whats wrong with John Bush?

  • AWESOME SOLO!! dan spitz at his best

  • I wonder who the three dickheads are that disliked this song

  • most underated anthrax song

  • Brothers in Blood!

  • bass is tits

  • Comment removed

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 them bands suck anthrax shits over them.

  • @karter005 Quit trying to start an argument and listen to the fucking song...

  • @karter005 agreed

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0

WHAAAAAAAT?? Y NO INDIVIDUAL THOUGHT PATTERNS??

  • \\m// belladonna was anthraxs best singer IMO

  • @584megadeth i hate john bush

  • @584megadeth and neil turbin too

  • @antrace92 ya i actually like neil turbin too. never understood why he got such a bad rep. Belladonna is better IMO but i do like turbin as well

  • HOW DO YOU GET THE PISSING BLOOD OFFFF!!!!???

  • blood bloood blood!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 people can't handle badass drum intros

  • @reigningbullets 2 people need a ass kicking! this is fuckign anthrax! one of the greatest metal bands of all time!

  • @karter005 fuck yeah man, anthrax may be in the big four... but they are WAY too underated

  • The came out around the same time Psalm 69 did. Great albums that absolutely deliver.

  • @jaybird321 It is a GREAT album but you are wrong about the time frames. This album came out in 90' Psalm 69 was 92' sir...

  • @mst741111 LOL. You are right. The early 90s was a blur for me.

  • @jaybird321 Yeah some of it was a blur...but two really great records- you are right!

  • Badass intro.

  • drums so full of win

  • I just got an original 1990 pressing of this album. It's preety worn, but it still plays fine. Awesome, i must say. This is almost on the same level as Rust in Peace. Better than anything the band did before, or after.

  • @wolf4241991 you got a original pressing of this album and a little worn thats cool i got iron maidens powerslave album on vinyl from 1984 and its a little worn but its plays awesome

  • @xDXPxJOEx456x1 Thats cool. Probably my favorite album in my collection is my original Serpent Temptation vinyl, from incubus (death/thrash band). Hardly even played.

  • get some of that awesome bass! sweeeeeeeeeet!

  • I love the cover for this album, it actually has some very deep artwork if u ask me.

  • @TheMattTrivium They weren't realesed near that year. In 1990, many of those great masterpieces where realesed. I belive that's were he's going with his comment.

  • fuckin classic anthrax

  • Hello there

Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan.

    1. Instead of bashin other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together.

    2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

    3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES!!"

If you like this idea, thumbs it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea

  • @ReconGuy1995 dude, i'm listening to Anthrax like it was honey of life but i do the same with Tears for Fears and so on with techno and many others...

So what about the fighting stuff ? Let the Pop live and keep enjoying Metal. ;)

  • @ReconGuy1995 The thing is I've been a metalhead for 24 years and in all honesty some pop music is actually better than some metal music. Just because it's metal does not make it instantly good. Good music is good music, regardless of genre. And Anthrax will tell you that too!

  • @ReconGuy1995 research illuminati and music ties

  • The first time I heard this album I was totally blown away... This album, Megadeth's Rust in Peace, Metallica's And Justice for All, and Slayer's Seasons in the abyss totally changed my view of Heavy Metal music. I've been a metalhead since.

  • @jesseisavlive

Dude, all those albums are MASTERPIECES.

It's great you found out about it.

We need more people out there in the world to KNOW more about metal.

    Keep it up, kid.

    Hail Metal.

  • I wish Anthrax would go back into the studio and make more albums just like this, best thrash metal ever recorded in studio and put onto compact disc.

  • At 4:38 - 4:40 is the heaviest mosh in all of thrash metal period, there is no question or doubt in my mind that Anthrax is the great thrash metal band of the big four. This crushes all of Metallica's albums and music like a massive earthquake, this is just totally groundbreaking thrash metal, that Metallica just doesn't even seem like a metal band because this is just so fucking heavy, that with a mosh like that, no one can take on the mighty Anthrax!

  • @Noah58 Anthrax are by far the most thrash out of the big four. I like all of the bands, but sometimes Slayer seems closer to death metal. Megadeth is thrash, but has made many non-thrash songs. Metallica are good, but they're not that thrashy anymore, Death Magnetic is more Heavy Metal. Anthrax, with Joey back they're the kings!

  • @MasterofKnees Hmmm... I never really thought about that. I have to agree with you.

  • metalica is dead

  • sooo 80s

  • @KadeshLeMort Better then anything out in the last 20 years

  • @KadeshLeMort actually this was released in 1990.

  • Youtube doesn't have the best song though, Breakdown is not found anywhere here!

  • LOL, the intro sound a little like the intro to Indians.

  • Someone send me a download link for the album please? I fucking Love Anthrax!!!!!!!!!

  • @rockerbackes

    ...*Slaps*

    GO BUY THE ALBUM. NOW.

  • @linzemol Ah, I'm just an internet Pirate... :)

  • Don't know why I never got around to this album! And Ive liked Anthrax for a long time.

    Epic shit

  • @tiki2188 i had all the anthrax tapes, this was one if not the best, go get the cd, you'll like it for sure!

  • @fakeusa

    I may have to!

  • i smell blood!!!!! anthrax ftw!!!

  • Way underrated. For my money, there are more Anthrax songs that I can get into than Megadeth or Slayer, and that's saying a lot cuz I love Slayer. Megadeth only has a few really kickass songs, imo.

  • @azbadgahad i disagree man. Anthrax and Megadeth are the best of the big four in my opinion. try peace sells but whos buying, so far so good so what, and Rust in Peace. you might have already but if not you gotta check those albums in full GENIUS

  • @HeavyMetalVagabond Peace Sells and Holy Wars are amazing. Symphony of Destruction is great. All of Megadeth's music is interesting to me, but out of their entire body of work, it's just several that really grab me, whereas Anthrax has a bunch that I like. I really didn't set out to disrespect Megadeth; my comment should be taken more as a compliment to Anthrax than a slight to Megadeth or Slayer, because I have nothing but respect for all of them.

  • @azbadgahad Your crazy!, Megadeth only has a few kickass songs?? How many Megadeth albums have you fully listened too? If you like thrash that I dont see how you couldve heard all of megadeths stuff and say they only have a few great songs. Take Rust in Peace for example, every song on that album is straight kick ass thrash from start to finish. But if youve listened to most of their stuff and you feel that way.... your entiled to you opinion i guess

  • @HookInMouth999 I haven't listened to all of "Risk" and their other post "Countdown To Extinction" stuff, but I have listened to all their classic stuff. Yeah, I like it. Dave's one of my heroes. I just prefer Anthrax. I went through a huge Megadeth phase, and Peace Sells is one of my top favorite songs of all time. I like Belladonna and Bush's voice better, for one thing, but I can't really explain it. I just like them better.

  • Joey Belladonna is back in ANTHRAX!!!!!!! maybe theyll kick major ass again!!!! thumbs this up if u think this great news!!

  • @skaterdouche4 saw them a few days ago - they KICKED MAJOR ASS

  • @flv2358 were they with joey belladonna

  • @skaterdouche4 yes. he performed all of the classics, and even did 'only'

  • @skaterdouche4 he really is back? let me know for sure, please! that is incredible news!

  • @dudemeisterSC yeah hes back gonna record their upcomin album worship music with him john bush quit

  • @skaterdouche4 Hey, thanks I appreciate that! If John Bush was the singer that just left, then good riddance! Joey Belladonna's voice is phenomenal. My favorite album of theirs is Persistence of Time, then Among the Living. What's yours?

  • @dudemeisterSC Hell their first five albums are masterpieces! but Persistance of time is best and this is my favorite song of them so dam heavy Anthrax FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @skaterdouche4 we have similar tastes in their music then. I think I like the first song Persistence of Time just as much as Blood. In my opinion no other heavy metal band played so tight and demonstrated such skill at such a fast pace, and having such a top notch singer just iced the cake. They never got proper credit, in my opinion

  • @dudemeisterSC yeah theyre underrated especially out of the big four i think their better than slayer (still good tho)

  • @dudemeisterSC I saw Slayer once in Philly back in 90 or so, and they played really well. They played the Trocadero. I don't even know if that place is there anymore. You're right though, Slayer is a good playing band

  • @dudemeisterSC Cool Anthrax fans ! In my opinion , Fistful Of Metal and Spreading The Disease and Among The Living are the best !

  • @King666Slayer Hey, what's up? Lol. When I saw Slayer at the Troc in Philly in 90 or so, the fans pulled the pipes down from the ceiling, and flooded the bathrooms..It was off the hook insanity, but I had a lot of fun anyway. The lead singer even had to stop the band from playing to tell the fans to stop destroying the place or they would quit playing. It didn't work for long. LOL

  • @King666Slayer I saw Anthrax open for Ozzy in December of 1988 at the spectrum in philly, and I've got to tell you, they were the loudest band I ever heard indoors, in my LIFE! and I've seen loud shows in my day. Motorhead, but that was outdoors, Metallica, WAY freakin loud too. ZZ Top was louder than all hell, and the Ramones in Trenton were loud, but they sounded like crap.

  • @dudemeisterSC I saw Metallica at the Bell Center in Semptember 09 and this summer in July , i'm going to the Canadian Carnage in QC . There is Megadeth , Slayer , Testament etc.. Thats fuckin crazy ! LOL

  • @King666Slayer Wow that sounds like a lot of fun! Wow, Testament.. I think they were the band that opened for Slayer at the Troc when the pipes were torn down. Lol. .Metallica was always good live, but I have to admit I haven't seen them in years. How were they? DId they sound good live? I was never much of a Megadeth fan, but I always gave them props for being talented. And of course Dave Mustaine was in the early Metallica, so props for that too.lol. Did you ever hear SOD? one album in 85

  • @dudemeisterSC Yes Speak English Or Die ! Thats Awesome :P Im a big fan of Thrash Metal ! Exodus , Voivod , Vio-Lence , All this stuff ;)

  • @King666Slayer yeah, thrash metal is great, but I need to be able to understand the words or else I can't get into it..that's just me though

  • @dudemeisterSC read the lyrics that helps me.

  • @skaterdouche4 fukin hope so buddy, be so bad ass!!!

  • @skaterdouche4 hopefully he's back for good this time.

  • @skaterdouche4

FUCK YEAH! I don't really like John Bush. He's ok though.

  • @Flarggful He's awesome in Armored Saint.

  • @skaterdouche4 THEIR NEW RECORD "Worship Music" IS FUCKING KILLER OLD SCHOOL THRASH METAL! GO GET IT, I PROMISE IT WONT DISAPPOINT~!! LONG LIVE BELLADONNA ~!!! LONG LIVE ANTHRAX ~!!!

  • man do i hate dumbfucks in youtube that all they do is talk about OTHER bands. and they fuckin' do that in every fuckin' vid.. like for example we got here the "metallica/black album/sold out" topic. and ya go to other bands vids; they'd still be doin the same shit: TALKIN ABOUT OTHER FUCKIN BANDS!.. motherfucker comment on the song; we don't give two shits about how ya feel about other bands copying this or sounding worse or better or whatever ya think... BROTHER ON!

  • Bring back Anthrax!!!!

  • the only bad album of metallica was st anger, the load and reload were good ROCK albums not metal

  • @sicfuker25 well im a metalhead and i hate rock. its too soft

  • @sicfuker25 i agree, i at least appreciate load and reload unlike most poeple

  • brother on,brother on...

  • why don't they play this live?

  • no the best thrash song by metallica is no remorse.. and anthrax first 3 albums is what thrash metal is all about.. this album is pretty good 2.. but the hardest band in my opinion is FLOTSAM & JETSAM which is the most underated band but straight speed metal also megadeth they have such great albums

  • @rngolding1 yeah have you heard the song blackened off of and justice for all. thats a grunge song? wow i didn't know that

  • BadASS!!!

  • Badass!!!

  • I dont know whats the best (Anthrax)song is.....but thats close

  • Don't get much harder than this, folks.....this is what the world needs - real thrash metal - who needs lyrics??

  • The Lyrics are what separate bands like Thrax and Metallica from other bands...among other things.

  • que buena cancion¡¡¡

  • Am i so wrong what i said?

  • I like the first 2 albums with John Bush, Sound Of White Noise and Stomp 442 after that its very gay.

  • this song should be played live

  • exhorder and pantera had already kicked that scene off. although i well and truly see what you mean with the groove influence.

  • Is Joey also singing the lower part at 1:37?

  • The last one great metal album to come out in those last years. and also the black album

  • Fuck the Black album. That was the end of Metallica....

  • How was that the end of Metallica?

You would still be bitching if they didnt try new sounds.

  • Are you serious? Metallica is dead. The new sound is not new its straight suck troll....

  • Again ill ask the same question you didnt answer.

How was the black album the end of Metallica?

  • Because it was the start of some pitifull reasons to call crap music.

  • wtf black album is beast

  • Take away all the radio play, and it was incredibly forgettable. Unforgiven was the only truly good song on it.

  • your a fucking poser, for saying that I officially take your metal badge

  • Idc take my badge but I still carry my pride and dedication to metal until I die.

  • @monkeyfrogs106 The only good song off of Black Album is Sad But True, the rest is shit. This album by far is one of the most underrated and best thrash metal albums probably ever recorded, next to Among the Living, Slayer's Reign in Blood, and Megadeth's Rust in Piece. Metallica's first three albums were great and part of ..And Justice For All, but it wasn't really thrash. Hell, Judas Priest's Nostradamus is way better than Black Album and AMG rated it 2 1/2 stars.

  • because that was when metallica sold out

  • What thrash band didnt try new sounds when grunge took over?

You make it seem like Metallica was the only band to try something new.

  • the tried doing new shit for 10 plus years and look what their back doing..... thrash with a horrible twist... 10 bucks says that if metallica never strayed from thrash they would probably be the best thrash metal band, but thats why Megadeth took over their title, they are the Number 1 thrash band

  • @BillyxRattlehead it was the end of metallica not because they tried new sounds it was the end of metallica because they sold out to grunge.....there is a certain line between trying a new sound and selling out to a new genre because more people listen to that genre.

  • Metallica never sold out to grunge.

What the hell made you think Metallica was grunge at one point?

  • @kangarradio Very true!! finally somebody actually makes fucking sense!! thanks BillyxRattlehead!!

  • @DobermansRock they got too big for their boots in Justice

  • @HeavyMetalVagabond and it was all downhill from there.

  • @DobermansRock

    fail

  • @123jrnp screw off

  • @DobermansRock

    mimimimimimimi

  • @123jrnp what does that mean

  • @DobermansRock

    it means that you cry

  • @DobermansRock i disagree i think the black album was their last good album not that it was bad

  • @DobermansRock

The black album was decent but everything after that other then S&M was shit.

  • @DobermansRock Fuck you

  • @DobermansRock you know what? i'm fuckin tired of people that says that one band is awesome and start to say the other great bands are crap, your being stupid man all the big4 are gods

  • Ohhh...shit great memorize...First metal album i buy.Anthrax Rules !!

  • yeah anthrax

  • seen this tour! awesome. it was called the CLASH OF THE TITIANS. anthrax, megadeth and slayer on the same stage.

  • @tohotxox where u been? all three are touring together now!

  • @rosstick that was a year ago where you been. but yeh 10/21/10 fuck yeh.

  • that drum roll was what made me start playing the drums 20 years ago.....now my math and rhythm are down to the point where somehow i get paid for my cadence, without even playing in a band......

  • Sorry I gave a thumb down on accident.

They say music is so much math that most mathmaticians get caught into lifetime equations. For a song.

  • my first time hearing persistance of time. its good but among the living is wayyy better. joey is wayy better than bush too. y would they get rid of him

  • If you type in the search bar 'Scott Ian Interview' and look for a strange image of Scott in a radioactive-looking silhouette, you'll hear what he has to say about Joey's departure (the interview was conducted after when Anthrax finished making the Sound of White Noise album).

  • I disagree. ATL is not better the POT and STD blows both of them away but it sounds a little too power metal for some - but STD it their best album...ask Anthrax!

  • de la bombe

  • these comments about joey remind of metallica fans talking about cliff burton of jason newsted

  • La mejor cancion del álbum!!!!!

  • seen this tour!! fucking awsome!

  • Ma préférée sur cet album!Culte!!!

  • JOE BELLADONA SCOTT IAN DAN SPITZ FRANK BELLO CHARLIE BENANTE.....ANTHRAX YOU RULE + JUDGE DREDD -AMONG THE LIVING- (like it,want pizza?,skateboard, frank, scott(you moshing experts)steve harris of iron maiden thank you,dan lilker, nuclear assault,forbidden,death,exodus,D.R.I.,metal church, freddie krueger,SOD,meliah rage, dark angel, bus driver, the blonde next door, indians
