You can overdose on marijuana. The government testes the lethality in all drugs used in medicine or LD-50 is the amount of a material or drugs given at once to kill 50% of the test subjects. However they where unsuccessful in determining the LD-50 for marijuana. Researchers have guessed marijuana's LD-50 to me near 1:20,000 1:40,000, the average marijuana cigarette weight about .9grams. In order to OD on marijuana you would have to smoke 1,500 pounds of it at one time. Not possible.
