good wee 'toon' until he started practice'n scales in the middle of it and proceeded ,to dismantle the 'toon' boysaboys 'jazz' guitar must be the most cringeworthy sound there is,why didn't he sing a few lyrics ,it is a song after all not just a 'toon', would have been a good flugel horn player
Listening to Chet play helps me stay centered and it helps me understand where and how I might fit into this wonderful, occasionally dark world. I could have lurked in smoke filled bars listening to this kind of music for years...
I don't think this is very good compared to a lot of other Chet Baker and I think it's the bass that spoils it for me. What's the deal with this typical jazz bass?
Shutting off sense From what is outward, Fixing the gaze At the eyebrows, Checking the breath-stream In and outgoing Within the nostrils, Holding the senses, Holding the intellect, Holding the mindfast, He who seeks freedom, Thrusts fear aside, Thrusts aside anger And puts off desire: Truly that man Is made free for ever.
Excelente versión.

EPIC! No one can come close to the Master Chet Baker - Not even Miles. Sorry...Chet had something magical that NO ONE to this day has.
