Please search youtube for Tar lesson by ali sohafi and watch the mezrab closely. Watch how it moves. Try to copy it at slow motion. To copy that movement you will be forced to hold the mezrab correctly. You should hold the mezrab among three fingers with as little as pressure as possible. A little less pressure, the mezrab must fall on the ground.

I'm glad that i asked for help and thanks a lot for your reply. By watching your video, i realized the way i used to hold mezraab was wrong. It means i should correct it although it's gonna take some time. Please keep posting your tar lessons on youtube. We have limited access to tar educational materials here. These lessons can provide a valuable source for those who want to keep their connections with Iran through music.
