Actually, I like the album version better, he put a lot of melody in it.. this live version is full of soul of course, but the album one is more... I don't know how to say it, like.. it's got the right flow.. it is elaborated, and it's got the right climax moments, it's like a story in an instrumental song, as it should be.

i think the live version is more emotional because its an improvised piece, but the suspended animation version is more elaborated and its in a completely other style with some extras like the bass solo
It's soooo powerful... Im so speechless! Really...it so deep and emotional it makes me feel depressed, and it gives me a feeling of emptiness. This is truly a composition out of the extraordinary!

I agree, this version is by far the best. The studio release from suspended animation is kinda heavy metal hard core. It just looses the feeling. This version without base and drums just gives the extra emotion and pure beauty to the song. Plus, you can hear the distinctness of the Ibanez JPM itself!!!
I agree with you there mandzsika. The studio version for me is just one of those examples where you make a piece and put too much bling-bling when it's not necessary to do so.
