I have one of these and nearly wrecked it in 2 inch of water. After about 30 seconds I could see bubbles coming out of the earpiece, so I could see it was leaking. When removed the back of the screen was clouded over with water vapour for days. Water also makes the earpiece and speakerphone go really quiet till it dries back out. Phone definitely not water resistant, maybe splash proof at best. Be warned. Oh, and the screen scratches and marks very easily!
@888asd00 Well not according to their site maybe you got a fake one or it was an early model. I still stand by it because they have a 3 year Warranty.
@1stNightingale Whatever their website claims, what I got was a crap phone for the money it cost. If Sonim is allowing fakes to get into the UK retail chain then that raises other issues. If early models mean shoddiness can be excused then that's too bad. It's your money bud.
