Hey, I need some help here: sometimes there's a huge bug with it (I have the newer version, CTL-460, pen only) suddenly it starts using average click as right click, and sometimes click and drag when just moving it! Later on I find out the wacom driver corrupted AGAIN and I have to reinstall it. Does anyone know how to make it work once and for all?? (in Win 7, of course)
@PaulHasyn I believe I had the same problem as you. What's mostly worked for me is I typed 'tablet' in the start menu's search bar and selected 'Pen Tablet Properties'. I believe the computer had the left click/bottom button set to ... 'click hold' I believe? Anyhow, I had to go to the drop list and select regular 'click'. It's not working perfectly for me, I have to use the left-click button now to make it write, but at least now it doesn't highlight everything. :/
@DIsForLotsOfThings I FOUND THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER: deactivate the "Tablet PC" and reinstall all original tablet's software. You can find it somewhere in the Control Panel, it's a bit tricky to find it, just remember it has to do with system and windows programs.
The Windows tablet software blocks the official from the tablet, preventing it from working. Some windows-tablet connections will be lost, but it will never fail again, and you can go back drawing normally. ^_^
hmmm...sorry to bother you, but, does it really work fine on professional? I have a windows 7 premium, but it seems that I couldn't download many softwares into it including Photoshop elements 6, canon scanner, and my tablet. I think the problem is that none of them are compatible with windows 7. So, should I upgrade it to a professional? Thanks. :)
@Joshuaelectronicsinc To be honest, I didn't fully test it out (download software, etc...). I don't think switching from Prem to Pro will make a difference. Might want to check out wacom's FAQ (or details) to see what OS they support, good question!
works great on windows 8!
