  • Is this car currently for sale? And where is it located? My dad is looking to get a Chieftain and this one caught his eye.

  • @yerfdog123 Isn't this beautiful? It might still be for sale. Check out fastlane classic cars on the internet and if it's still there for sale, you'll see it. Fastlane is located in St.Charles, MO, west of St.Louis. Good luck.

  • Very nice bright work and paint job (I couldn't detect any over spray) and of course the interior would be flawless. In 1950 a straight 8 was still a sign of strong reliable transportation (eg. Buick, Packard, etc) and of course Pontiac did have that image Pontiac made Hydramatic an option in 1948 and by that time it was well proven by prewar Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs and of course the many applications that it was used in during the War.

  • @cheddyrod You are right! GM made many war related products during the war. The Hydramatic was a great automatic transmission and served GM products well. Several other car makers procured these trannys until they could build their own. This Pontiac is really sweet and it does have superior paint. This car looks brand new. Thanks again Cheddy for your informative comments.

  • @brians09challenger This is a great car! I love it. And, I'm glad you enjoyed this video and yes, these Pontiacs could have used a V-8. I like that lighted hood ornament and those snazzy silver streaks.
