i don't get how some women spend their lives training to pole vault only 16'. and highschool guys can get over that easily at state. pole vaulting shows that men are physicaly superior to women.

I had never heard the name of Bubka's coach. The only sport I ever did in school was pole vaulting. Bubka is the God of Polevaulters. His huge poles and his way of just hanging back for an eternity before he finishes his rock back and shoots over the top. He's just amazing.
