  • My dad owns a Corvette and I have never been prouder

  • The C7 is gonna raise the bar and everybody is gonna have to play catch up again.

  • how come no one has giving a full legit review about the corvette c6....this is very annoying

  • greatest car. ever.

  • I just baught one, I love it

  • Poweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!!

  • corvette been american king, but now is WORLD KING. IM FROM EUROPE

  • that takes honesty...good for you.

  • @yllshqipe

    Thanks man

  • @yllshqipe Is quite a good car, performance for price is very good, but not the fastest still

  • @yllshqipe

ok so you are from Europe but you clearly dont know much about cars.

  • like the dude said "never mind"

  • Maybe,but is it Ameican?

  • its all American sir!

  • You can get a 2009 Corvette like in the video for around $65,000 used... The new GT3 Porsche is $140,000 I dunno where your adding & subtracting is but doesn't seem like the same price to me.

  • @SuRihtanil a New 2009 Corvette costs $48,000. Where did the $65,000 price come out from a Z06?

  • @noshabibis $65,000 is average used price, mostly the avgerage lot price also. $48,930 is the bare minimum for a Corvette but, you won't find many vettes on GM lot brand new for $49,000... This doesn't include tax either. The ones on my GM dealer lot range from $55,000 to $80,000. They have one Zr1 for $115,000.

  • @SuRihtanil ???????? you can get a used 2006 Z06 with 10,000 miles for $55,000 here in Houston all over.

I checked on the official Chevy website and saw 7 new 2010 C6 for $48,555.

  • @noshabibis Do you read what people type or what? We're talking about new Vettes here. You are not going to find a 2011 or even a 2010 Z06 Vette with 10,000miles for $55,000 or less. Unless it has been abused... A nice Z06 from this years class or last years class USED is going to be around $70,000-$75,000.

  • @noshabibis So please stop trolling me... If it was possible for me to buy a brand new Z06 for around $50,000 with little to no miles and in mint shape with the extra's I like it would be sitting in my drive way.

  • @SuRihtanil now who the hell said a NEW Z06 for $50,000 get the facts straight i said a USED 06 Z06 for $50,000. Check craigslist if you dont believe me.

  • @noshabibis Hmm are you in high school or something? You're fairly stupid or you just do not read/pay attention. You should really remain silence if you do not want to make an attempt at reviewing the information in front of you before speaking. The comment you replied to me on, I made a year ago. It's now 2010 so I made the comment in 2009. I said a 2009 Vette genius not a 2006... No one was talking about a 4 year old piece of shit. I was stating about a Vette no older than a year.

  • @noshabibis Well again I have no clue what you're talking about... You sir are a idiot. My comment which you first replied to me on was made a year ago... in 2009 and I was speaking about a 2009 model corvette. You have completely went off topic, and I feel like I am speaking to a 14 year old who doesn't know his asshole from a hole in the ground. Come back 10 years later when you know how to type and read kid...

  • @SuRihtanil shut up fool and stop putting long azz paragraphs on here.

  • Now is the time to buy. Just got mine for $40k brand new. Look for high volume dealers out of state.

  • Yeah you can get them for like 40,000 used with not too much miles

  • and the ls3 runs recorded 11.7 and possibly faster times with only minor minor mods. CAI Exhaust...experienced corvette driver.

  • I think the Corvette is the best sports car for its value and ZR1 is amazin

  • i no rite? y buy one of those 3 hundred grand cars wen u can get the zr1 for 1 hundred and still beat the crap out of the others.

  • Although the ZR1 or any Corvette for that matter offers the most performance for the money many people just don't like the way the Corvette delivers its performance. You have to consider that cars with similar performance don't necessarily deliver their performance in a similar manner. Cars like the Corvette and Viper rely on brute performance while some others rely more on finesse and technique. In the end it all boils down to personal preference.

  • @newpalwaggoners You won't, that's why. Not unless you have the skills of a race car driver.

  • forget the stupid price who cares seriously!!!

  • i have 86 corvette is great ZR1 IS MY FUTURE CAR

  • TVR sagaris is better.

  • it doesnt like corners, or its hood, or itself in any way... Sagaris is a no-no.

  • @Driver599

sagaris is a go kart with a really good looking body on it. corvette is a luxury race car.

  • I had no idea until i drove one how awesome they are

  • The corvette is great

  • If you want more luxury, go for the Cadillac XLR. It's just a dressed-up Corvette.

  • Not it is not. The xlr has a different motor amongst other things.

  • Yes, but GM wanted there to be two sports cars - a high-performance/fast car and a more luxurious semi-sports car. If you want more power, get the XLR-V, but you're right, the Corvette is more for racing. The XLR is more for luxury and everyday cruise.

  • And it uses a totally different motor. Nothing like the corvette.

  • The xlr is a vette. They are built in the same factory, same chassis different motors for now, xlr is uglier, slower, more expensive and should go away.

  • But its not a dressed up corvette. If it had the same motor I would agree with you. But it doesnt. And thats what the OP commented.

  • The XLR is easily worth the extra money. It's got a navigation system, premium sound system, heated leather seats, 6-disc CD changer, heated leather wrapped steering wheel with radio and cruise controls, adaptive cruise control, and so much more. It's a slightly less expensive and "cooler" BMW 650i, and it's sure as hell a much more luxurious Corvette. Sure it's not nearly as fast or powerful, but the XLR delivers exceptional ride quality, luxury, and the XLR-V does reach 60mph in 4.6 seconds.

  • Naw hes right the Xlr is a luxury vette. the biggest difference is the motor. Most of your new Caddy engines are going to have a high tech DOHC v8 thou.. its a caddy thing

  • GM should just basically give the XLR the 'Vette Engines, then you could say it's a dressed up 'Vette. Why they don't bother doesnt make sense, I mean if Cadillac really wanted the thing to sell, they'd give it speed AND power on top of it's luxury, then if they Supercharged it, it'd destory the CTS-V and be right there with the Z06 and ZR1

  • All I was trying to say is that I don't think one of the cars is better than the other. One is for the track. One is for pure luxury and high ride quality. I tend to think of the Corvette as a car for youth (teenagers and early 20's) while the XLR is more of a car for rich old people in their late 60's and up.

  • vettes rule!

  • I am getting a 2006 coupe

  • First view...corvettes r awesome
