I met Jello after a concert in the mid 80's in Providence. He was such a nice guy! Super friendly and very down to earth. Not a bone of pretension or snobbery like many musicians today.

Well Jello's always been smart enough to know that age most likely will bring a slow down in rebellion. He mentions that in the interview listed from darbypsnm. He knows how to amuse himself, and that young people are always there to pick up the rebel torch. Hopefully they will use it well. Peace

His politics aren't all wrong. He understands and abhors the socialist direction of the USA. But unfortunately, he still seems to believe in authoritarian social policies - the 'correct' ones, I guess. He does not seem to get that authoritarianism seeps into all areas of public and private life, given the opportunity.

I think "authoritarian" is maybe more accurate than "socialist," but both terms apply to the US government's increasing need to regulate every aspect of our personal lives. Does this not make sense? Jello has ranted against this for years now, though I have never heard him prescribe solutions or ideas to combat the issue.

I understand you have to do something but his ideas are so unrealistic. Ive been around the world and trust me America is the best we have it great here.
