I hate that so much... Its happened in New Orleans so many times. the northbound City of New Orleans train can do as much as 60 MPH over the Central Ave. (I railfan a lot there) and the train is like 200FT away and they try to weave around to crossing with their cars... Its so annoying....

@Amtrakboy32 yeah 5-6 seconds being too close... One time my train came a mere HALF SECOND from hitting some guy, right by the bridge in this video. I was riding in an Amfleet cab car, back when the F40PH's shoved to SD and pulled to LA...saw the whole thing. Guy just popped outta nowhere with a bike to cross. By the time the engineer could reach to yank on the K5LA, we were already past him. He was still on the ballast when we went by. All 4 of us (myself and the crew) said "holy shit" at once!
