I saw Threat Signal in July in Austin, TX and I think a lot of it had to do with the bands that Threat Signal was touring with. To me the other bands seemed average and they sounded like the other thousands of everyday metal bands out there. Plus, they seemed to sound much more "hardcorish" while Threat Signal is straight up metal.
