Stick it on the Dyno & find its down by 20BHP and 30 ft-Lbs torque down , looks like shit, screws up all road manners & every biker in the world will point & laugh at how ridiculous it looks cause you stuck a £5 bit of pipe to replace when BMW probably spent £1M in exhaust developement . . . . but at least its loud ! fool !!!!

Cara, aproveitei a sua idéia (depois que ouvi o som) e inseri um tubo de aço dentro abafador original da minha BM. Resultado, consegui o ronco bonito com o aspecto de original.

No power loss he still has more back pressure then with a name brand full system cause the Cat is still on there. Im not a fan cause if you can afford a BMW should be able to afford a quality, great looking shortie system.

OMG mufflers are for SOUND CONTROL ONLY, they do nothing to hurt /help the motor, slipons and aftermarket exhaust build power by opening up the exhaust and letting it flow more evenly and less restricted. You can only damage the motor if the exhaust is to short, like no headers, then you dont hurt the pistons but burn the valves/seats because the motor will pull cold air into the exhaust. This goes for ANY MOTOR car, truck, motorcycle, the only motor this dosnt pertain to is 2cycle engines!

i ordered an akrapovic slip coz the dealer in our country said any other exhaust would void the warranty :(

@rakanvaio i saw this akrapovic slip coz in the store, but i think it doesn't change the sound too much. try to test without any exhaust in order to check out the sound.

i didn't lose the warranty, i made this exhaust by myself with a little help from my mechanic.
