I used to live in the Omiya prefecture 15 years ago, and I used to take the same train Takaki took to visit Akari in the first episode. Every time he stopped in a train station I remembered exactly how each station look like, because they are exactly the same in the animation. Fantastic song! So sad, and full of truth. And this anime, one of the best anime ever. Makoto Shinkai do his best! Those scenery, pictures, animations.... Wonderfull! This anime is based on the theme - time. and i experienced (and still do) the same thing but not exactly a love story..if you know what i mean. When you know time is flying by so fast but there really isnt much you can do, and you feel like you are counting down each day you lived... o btw i am not an emo, its just something that concerns me alot.
