People think that flight attendants' life are glamarouse because they look fresh and glamarous more of like a model. I dont really know why I love being in the sky because i have so many reasons. It's not really that professional being an FA because its just simple being an FA.

@aquars26 Hi i m not a F/A but i m a Pilot. I really respect F/A's because they do something i can't do at all. I honestly find their job harder than ours. I also don't like the way they are treated by airlines and their pays now, it just make me mad. Me and a bunch of my friends are taking the risk of standing up for them and talking to the airline although its gonna cost our jobs. WISH US LUCK.. :)

I'd love to date a female flight attendent, for any airline. I hesitate to do so because of the bad experience my friend had with his flight attendent fiancee. She was with JAL (an incredibaly gorgeous oriental woman!). Just two weeks before they were to marry, he found out that she was having constant sex with pilots of other airlines while she was on overnight layovers. He had been cellibate while with her. She ended up giving him AIDS that she picked up months earlier. They'er both dead now!

I kid you not! Flights attendants are wonderful people & caring. I'm sure that they must go through a lot of training. Up until the 1960's, they were required to be RN's. However, they are still human beings with different characters & personalities. That being said, I personally would stiil like to date one. I knew the FA who passed on the virus to my friend (she was a very beautiful Oriental woman). They died months later from AIDS, a week apart. She admitted what she had done before dying.

I have the greatest respect for FA's! However, I think you misunderstood me. I never said that I wanted to date THE FA who slept around with others & gave the virus to my friend, killing them both. What I am saying is that I would love to date an FA from any airline, as long as she was clean & didn't sleep around. In my opinion, FA's are like beauty queens, but without all of the glamour, excessive makeup and arrogance! If I could find the right compatable one, I'd marry her! BTW, are you an FA?

I don't know. I personally think that the women who work there are just as beautiful as nurses, lawyers, pilots etc.. theres no different, beautiful people are in every categories and so are not-attractive people. No I am too young. But I have thought about becoming one.

Do you know how much is the starting salary?

Basic Salary starts from around Us 1,500 plus you get paid for your monthly hours flight to an estimate of US1,500 and get allowances on long haul and night stops when you stay in the hotel in other countries so that would be an estimate of around US 3,000 per month depending on your schedule. Add it all up thats how much you earn. Oh don't forget that Etihad, Gulf Air, Emirates and a few other airlines have an all expense paid fully furnished accomodation from their base country.
