i love my x pipe. its louder and it gives a higher pitched sound around 2500 and 3000 rpm. h pipes give you a more quieter and deeper sound. same thing with long tube and shorty headers. its all about what you want. before deciding, listen to different combinations people are running cause they all sound different. x pipes actually work better to disperse the air flow equal. look at my 132 video under my profile. video 137 has the inside sound. my combo is really loud but i love it.
if you do not mind i have a question? do your flowmaster exhaust sound good with the x pipe because almost every body is telling me to get an h pipe. thanks
sct is the best way to go, but i tell you now you don't always need cats...all it takes is 30 minutes under the car to switch them out or know somewhere to go to get it done problem free. $570???? You're outta your mind...I paid $395 for mine with custom tunes...if you intend on buying one you might wanna research around before you waste your money
Installing that Dr. Gas offroad X, did that throw an engine code? I want the offroad sound but can't afford to buy the programmer to turn off the light.
yeah def did, but u needs cats to pass inspection, i would look into catted x pipe or high flow catted H, but you can buy a sct live flash which is the best way to spend your money, u can shut off codes, adjust speedo for rims sizes, gear changes and get live reading and free customs tunes for life, and you can change the car from 87 octane tune to 89 or 93 and they got a special tune built into for certain airtakes and they run for 570 dollars. and if u ever do the extreme u still can use it.
