I love this song, but this video clip is uber-cheesy. Its' so painfully obvious that he's merely lip synching...and doing it poorly at that. You can hear the rest of his backing band, but where are they? American Bandstand used to do the same thing...bring out musical acts to "perform" their songs, although they were totally faking it.

@novembrine1 Lipsync or nothing, huh? Tell that to Ed Sullivan through the 60's and 70's. Tell that to the many artists who chose to sing live on shows like The Midnight Special. Yes, live televised performances were indeed possible, but obviously a bit more challenging.
