I have an old music/song book from which I learned the music for the trumpet. Strangely, the book says the music is a traditional Scottish air. It was published in Scotland which is where I live and this may be an unreliable attribution of the source. But the Yeats story is from Yeats himself.
This is a beautiful performance of "Down by the Sally Gardens." Who is this singer, though? Her tone quality is beautiful, not to mention her diction.

Excellent English, period. In any case, I suspect this lady is an English speaker- it may not her first language, but she could surely be fluent.
