I'm one of Gooden's biggest fans, but this guy is right. Gooden should have never tried to gain weight and muscle. He was better, more athletic, more emotional, and more entertaining when he was like this. That's what made him the 4th pick in the draft. Right how he seems like he's going through the motions and settling for mediocrity. Maybe he'll get back on track this season.
