Also, he must be good at what he does, I say this because he was PICKED for the YOUTUBE ORCHESTRA back in I believe 2009? He has some form of school now or academy for pianists, and HE HAS RECOGNITION. If any of you were "as good or better", then why have are you not known? You can attempt to make yourself sound "intelligent" or that you have some "vast knowledge about music", but, CAN YOU DO WHAT HE CAN? If so, videos, post them. Upto 0:55 its still acceptable, but afterwards he added a rubato on it WTF. Rubato on that tense moment.

This is awful - honestly. Where's the articulation? And he rushes the faster runs as if theyre exercises. He's a technician and his Liszt isn't that good either - he has great facility but little imagination or taste.

I agree with you. He's not even a technician, his technique is awful. You can't take him as an example good technique. Just look at his hands. HORRIBLE TECHNIQUE. Arrau technique wasn't the best either, but it was far more better than this Lang Lang crap, and the music Arrau played with his hands. Compare Arrau recording with this crap. ARRAU WAS A GOD, and Lang Lang is, like some guy say here, a magician, a simple illusionist a faker.

Do you think that technique is based on how the hands look? No i think technique is based on how an artist puts things to execution, he hands looks different than the usual but to say that he's technique is awful is totally wrong. He is a master technician, a virtuoso thats what he is.
