I love the simple flap design, seen at the 2:00 mark. Beautiful elegant simplicity of design! A nice counterpoint to years and years of multi-slotted inboard flap design.
Wow! that is stunning! it's so beautiful.. @jasnitmail It's only a bit smaller than the 777's. They will have it's stretched version in the latter but 773-ER's would still be longer than 787-10x. =)
@jasnitmail What it is looking like, is that the B787-8 is a 767 replacement, and what is going to happen, is that the A350 is going to replace the B777, since the A350 is wider than the B787. Hopefully Boeing can keep making money with the B777, but they need to make the B777 lighter, with more composites to compete with the A350.
@Geoffr524 well, i agree to your point mostly. But as far as A350 competing with 777 is pretty broad. What i believe is that, A350-1000 will give some stiff competition to 772s but 773s are way too big for A350. Yes you are every right Boeing need to lighten up their 777s else they will look like giant heavy metal bird, just like what MD11s are facing these days.!Well, good times ahead :)
@Geoffr524 I agree with u 100% but they will figure something out....Come one it's boeing!!!:)They might even make the B777 accommodate a comfortable 10 row seat arrangement
@jasnitmail i'm pretty sure they were just checking if the gear will redeploy once airborne. you might have noticed just before the video ended that the gear was about to raised again. hope this helped :)
Hi great video! do you know what time on Sept. 26 will this bird take off for Japan? i really want to go to Pain Field and watch for the delivery flight! thanks for the help!
