Well done Erin!! Well done to the parents as well! Comes to prove what can be achieved if you don't give up in spite of how the odds are stacked up against you. Always give it your best and only the sky will be your limit. God bless you all.
This is amazing how doctors told you that she would be never able to walk again and look at how she baffled the doctors. God is the miracle worker here and has helped give the strength to Erin so she could walk. I am truly proud of Erin for helping herself out. And not giving up. One day you'll see. She will be able to walk again without the use of a walker!
I just learned about Erin while researching a service dog for my son who has autism. I am so glad that I came upon her and then this video. I am so inspired by this little girl! Thank you for sharing her with everyone! :-)
You are such an inspiration. I hope you can walk with no help and that you will get what you want from life. I can't believe how well you have progressed. Keep going girl!
Jade,
You keep going too! I love your smile and your grace. Be supportive of your sister all ways. Love you too girl! Keep going!
You go girl! :) I remember watching the Discovery Health special about Erin and Jade and I felt so bad for her; but she proven everyone wrong. :) Maybe one day she will be able to walk without any assistance.
Truely amazing. Erin is doing awesome!!! What a blessing they are. They've been through so much and have come so far. :o) Prayers and best wishes. Watching her walk put a huge smile on my face. GO ERIN!!!!
I'm so happy for you. I only heard of Erin and her twin today. And I am so glad I stumbled upon this. I just know that she'll be walking with out any support soon. And than before you know it she'll be running and you'll have trouble believing that she ever had trouble walking. You and your family are in my prayers.
I had a stroke at 25 and I was told by doctors that i would never walk again and Praise God I am walking with no more cane and on my own...that was 6 years ago and too se Erin bring tears to my eyes, not of sorrow or for sadness. But I know a god that has power in his hands...and each step she takes prove everyone wrong who said she couldnt do it...Im so proud of her...God Is Good! She will go far and before you know it run life races...How is her twin!
Please let Erin know that all of her friends on youtube and facebook want her to know how PROUD we are of her! She is the strongest, most determined little girl and she can accomplish anything she sets her mind on!
I have watched this so many times since it was posted but haven't had the time to comment (I don't think)! Good Job Erin!! This is a big of an accomplishment, and you have come SO far since I started following you back in early 2007 or late 2006 (I honestly don't remember)!
I am so happy for you and your family,
Congratulations. You aren't done yet either. You will continue to progress.
This is the most beautiful and inspiring thing i've seen in a very long time !! I've been following your family for many years and this video really brought tears to my eyes... Proves that all your hard work is finally paying off, I'm sure she'll go all the way and prove all the drs wrong !! This is a truly amazing little girl.. I wish her all the best. x
I think there is nothing that this beautiful young girl will not do, or at least try. She is the perfect example why anyone should never give up hope and she is blessed to have parents who will push her to her limits. My late father always told us when we were growing up that my brother with a disability should never be treated any different from the rest of us, I can now appreciate what he meant, Celebrate her ability and she will continue to thrive.
This video brought me to tears. I've followed your family from the start. Beautiful family! It has taken 6 1/2 years but Erin finally walked without someone holding onto her and her walker. Congratulations! Amazing children you have, all of them. Sending some love!
PS. I'm in a wheelchair too. I walk a little in my house or in therapy.
if i'm right, the girls separation was filmed for a one hour special on a health channel ( i don't remember if it was TLC or discovery health) i watched it, i remember the narrator saying Erin was paralyzed but not due to a stroke. Amazing how farr she has come after that..proof that my friend who had stroke can recover :) Go Erin
I'm so happy for her!!
