  • Why did this band never hit the big time, when you see the crap doing it today they had such a cool sound very unique such a shame

  • @MrHotrox23 They did for a couple of years. 86-88 they were a reasonably big act across Europe.

  • I said...ALL the best FREAKS are HERE!!! come see ..Halifax NS

  • It seems a shame that Freaks was only released as a B-side back in '85. I think it was because Marillion wrote and produced it around the time of "Misplaced Childhood" and it didn't fit the storyline of the album. It's hard to say if Freaks would have fitted on any of the Fish-era albums. Maybe Fugazi, possibly. I consider it their 6th or 7th strongest song. It should probably have been released instead of "Heart of Lothian", which really was an album-only song in my opinion.

  • i have it on picture disc with a jester on it 1988

  • Freaks was a single in its own right, it came out in several formats, 7in 12in and Picture Disc!! Its a great track and deserved to do much better!!

  • MARILLION ROCKS !!!!!

  • I see all the best freaks are writing here :)

  • @mariangeorgiev1

    Please stop staring at me!

  • fish tu est le meilleurs

  • this freaks song is really great I love it

  • This song is really great, so powerful, meaningful I can't believe that it was a B side to, after 20 years still rocks, Fish one of the greatest Progresive Rock Singer!!!

  • ive got a tiny penis so i casn really relate to this song

  • @oxono14 Music by Marillion

  • this is the song of the revolution! FREAKS WILL LIVE ON!

  • this is not from "The Thieving Magpies". this is from other live album - "Garden Party"'85. "Freaks" in "The Thieving Magpies" is performance different than this. but the both are good! :)

  • This is from "The Thieving Magpies" ! I took this song on ...

  • @alexandergenov1984 This is definitely Thieving Magpies. I was listening to it before i looked for the video to share on Facebook

  • Grande periodo di creatività questo dei Marillion: "Freaks" è il B-side di lavender, mentre l'altrettanto splendida "Lady Nina" è il B-side di Kayleigh.

  • This is from La Gazza Ladra.

  • The Thieving Magpie . Is that how it translates ?

  • Was this a B side? I can't remember.

  • Yes, I think it was on the Lavender single.

  • Yep I think you could be right there, cheers mate, good to hear them again, brings back many memories from my 'rocker' days!

  • wow, never heard it live....thanks :D

  • Whoa, never heard this one before.. thanks for uploading.
