The pressure comes from the current delivery and storage. The one I use are for this purpose. The large ceramic ones are good to but they have a lot of leakage, no good for storing that energy.

@ProjectsBlack Hello, It is the inconsistency of the series spark gap and the charging capacitor. In this example it is worse. The switching voltage fluctuates. You have no clean energy flow. Then only option is to change that with a synchrony rotary spark gap, which I build at the moment. @MrFlathunter Hello, Yes that is very old. Only pictures exist. A bit strange to have a cluster of them close to each other. One main power source linked to the secondary and they are all magnifiers but with different frequencies. Like an accord on a piano. Based on the coil length I assume it would be below 50 KHZ. There is a test area in America which uses two large Tesla coil to test aircraft's in a lightning scenario. More a test facility for safety.

@Hiv0ltage Well, there are true Tesla coil designs out there. However at first we need to identify, what is a true Tesla coil? The components is not the part of it, It is always the same. HV power supply, capacitor bank, spark gap, primary and secondary air coils. It is how you drive it. Most coils are AC driven. That is not powerful and also dangerous. The 50/60 HZ get through the primary into secondary and is part of the frequency in the spark. That hurts.
@Hiv0ltage You have to connect the secondary to the ground and have to drive the primary with pulsed DC. By doing so you get a much more powerful spark or energy release an also you separate the mains frequency from the secondary and the current into the ground. What is left is pure potential without current. Well you don't feel it any more but it is still dangerous. It burns under your skin into the bones. You notice that many days later. Tesla know that and did abandon sparking altogether.

@sylver369 Actually, it contains argon, mercury vapor, neon or krypton but not pure neon. They are only in use for so called NEON Signs not for fluorescence lamps. It would be too expensive and the UV radiation would not be high enough to illuminate the phosphorus salt on the inside of the tube wall.

There are well known circuits based on Ohms law to build a voltage divider existing. It is simple mainstream technology.

A high efficient resonant system, however you squeeze out of the system what is possible you do not extract energy from the environment. Your batteries last very long. I am more interested in larger scale systems with high power / voltage. Scale it up to one KW then I have a look.
First off, this is not "free energy" as some poster seem to think. This has nothing to do with free energy. This power is coming from the power being run through the Tesla coil. Second, it appears that there is a wire running to the Tesla like a common ground. My radiant setup has no wires whatsoever going from transmitter to receiver. Tesla often used a ground wire for his setup but that is rather immaterial and this can be done with a simple spark gap transmitter. Just saying.
@thorargent Correct, there is no free Energy. I was always saying that. Would you care to watch the consecutive videos of radiant Energy. They tell a story. And also the first video of the Bi-Polar Tesla Coil, which I build specific for all my future experiments in mind. In this building I had no ground in the loft, so had to work without. I also did not link the primary to the secondary. One important aspect is not fulfilled for the Tesla Coil.
@thorargent It is driven via AC. That does not give you the power you would draw from unidirectional DC pulses. However that was in this example not so important because I was investigating ways to tap into the field. In my later videos you will see how well it works. Even with AC you still have an RLC network which rings. With DC pulses and the correct spark gap it will extract more power.

The idea is to harvest static using an kite or ballon "antenna", a simple long isolated wire that will be charged through electrostatic induction when the wind blows by. Kind like franklin's kite, but better. Something like this: nuenergy.org/images/jpg/basic_tesla_conversion_circuit.jpg. For the loop antenna, you put it close to or directly under the power lines. And then, make it resonant using a variable cap.

First, static electricity is captured in dielectric materials like plastic or glass and not electromagnetic in nature, no frequency. Will not work with flyback. To change the voltage you need frequency and electromagnetism in order to transform it. To harness energy from the air is via a long aerial to a fast bridge rectifier to capacitors. It takes long to store energy. Tell me what you are after?
@AdlerMow Mutual inductance is required to capture the magnetic field of a power line. Because you are so far away with you antenna there is almost no energy left to capture. Another thing is that the frequency is low but voltage is hight. Low frequency because the iron core can not switch fast enough the magnetic field. It creates heat and therefore a loss of the EMF. High voltage overcomes line resistance. The only way is to store the energy and create AC from DC to a transformer via IGBT's.

Excellent construction and interesting video. Is there a spark gap? I don't see how we could break symmetry or produce large amounts of displacement current without a spark gap and an earth ground or some sort of large electron sea anchor for the other half of the circuit.

@QuarkToo Hello, Yes the 1B22 is doing the job. They are from 1920 and are highly radio active. This tubes are used to power Radar systems and switch over 100 Amp. Unfortunately the Neon sign transformer need a higher brakedown voltage to create the kick. In this example I am not interested in it. No spark is create on the Tesla Coil. You have to avoid it in fact. Don smith has already used this for his system.

I had to pot the primary because it was sparking all over the place when I used it for the Biefield Brown experiment. Again no spark is allowed to be produced, that is causing a huge strain on the system and need to avoided.
@QuarkToo I just read the article and it is exactly what I like to achieve. You can see on the scope that I reach the first stage. My new system will hopefully reach the second stage. Spark gaps do not always increase the performance. I have a concept in mind and give it a go.

A high efficient resonant system, however you squeeze out of the system what is possible you do not extract energy from the environment. Your batteries last very long. I am more interested in larger scale systems with high power / voltage. Scale it up to one KW then I have a look.

First off, this is not "free energy" as some poster seem to think. This has nothing to do with free energy. This power is coming from the power being run through the Tesla coil. Second, it appears that there is a wire running to the Tesla like a common ground. My radiant setup has no wires whatsoever going from transmitter to receiver. Tesla often used a ground wire for his setup but that is rather immaterial and this can be done with a simple spark gap transmitter. Just saying.

@thorargent Correct, there is no free Energy. I was always saying that. Would you care to watch the consecutive videos of radiant Energy. They tell a story. And also the first video of the Bi-Polar Tesla Coil, which I build specific for all my future experiments in mind. In this building I had no ground in the loft, so had to work without. I also did not link the primary to the secondary. One important aspect is not fulfilled for the Tesla Coil.

@thorargent It is driven via AC. That does not give you the power you would draw from unidirectional DC pulses. However that was in this example not so important because I was investigating ways to tap into the field. In my later videos you will see how well it works. Even with AC you still have an RLC network which rings. With DC pulses and the correct spark gap it will extract more power.

I'm reminded of this every time I get shocked, or see an unused section of power-lines grounded so they don't kill the first worker that will be tasked with connecting them up to the grid. @SlackerSlayer True, I noticed a difference by aligning the coils. Will have to do more tests on a larger scale. It might be because of the orientation of the dielectric field of the Tesla Coil. I will test it with my Wireless Power transmitter in a later video.

In my follow up videos I increase the efficiency by exploring various systems. The latest video with the Bifilar spiral coil need your attention. This one is easily capable to have a COP of 10. Input power 80 watt output power 1000 watt on resistive load. I explain that you need to transform it down to mains voltage in order to use it for our appliances.

Im making confusion here, sorry. The idea is to harvest static using an kite or ballon "antenna", a simple long isolated wire that will be charged through electrostatic induction when the wind blows by. Kind like franklin's kite, but better. Something like this: nuenergy.org/images/jpg/basic_tesla_conversion_circuit.jpg. For the loop antenna, you put it close to or directly under the power lines. And then, make it resonant using a variable cap.

@AdlerMow Hello, you are right but if you read the patent careful Tesla suggest that you can harvest any kind of radiation. He was actually talking about particles from the sun. I alternated his patent and using the dielectric field of a Tesla coil to prove the concept. Try to get 100 meter of wire to a higher altitude. Use a sheet rather then a wire. The surface will capture more waves from all frequencies. My other videos tune to the frequency and gather more energy. Eric Dollard explains.

@AdlerMow Hello, yes, but there are two different electrical energy forms you are talking about. First, static electricity is captured in dielectric materials like plastic or glass and not electromagnetic in nature, no frequency. Will not work with flyback. To change the voltage you need frequency and electromagnetism in order to transform it. To harness energy from the air is via a long aerial to a fast bridge rectifier to capacitors. It takes long to store energy. Tell me what you are after?

@AdlerMow Mutual inductance is required to capture the magnetic field of a power line. Because you are so far away with you antenna there is almost no energy left to capture. Another thing is that the frequency is low but voltage is hight. Low frequency because the iron core can not switch fast enough the magnetic field. It creates heat and therefore a loss of the EMF. High voltage overcomes line resistance. The only way is to store the energy and create AC from DC to a transformer via IGBT's.

You have many options. First, my Favorited source is Ebay. I buy almost 98% of what you seen in my video on Ebay. However if you see Eric Dollars video you want some vintage stuff as well. Just one hint: I recall that 1B22 are powerful tubes but they are also radioactive (pls check related Datasheet on the Web): some people uses and shows them but doesn't warn otrhers about the danger, so take care for safety if you use them (adequate shielding, storing etc). Excellent construction and interesting video. Is there a spark gap? I don't see how we could break symmetry or produce large amounts of displacement current without a spark gap and an earth ground or some sort of large electron sea anchor for the other half of the circuit.
Vladimir Utkin wrote some interesting documents on the subject and you would see what I am suggesting if you read them.

@QuarkToo Hello, Yes the 1B22 is doing the job. They are from 1920 and are highly radio active. This tubes are used to power Radar systems and switch over 100 Amp. Unfortunately the Neon sign transformer need a higher brakedown voltage to create the kick. In this example I am not interested in it. No spark is create on the Tesla Coil. You have to avoid it in fact. Don smith has already used this for his system.

@TheOldScientist Do Smith however couple the coil direct. I do use the frequency of the dielectric field to create the energy. The new receiver I will build will exceed this performance. I had to pot the primary because it was sparking all over the place when I used it for the Biefield Brown experiment. Again no spark is allowed to be produced, that is causing a huge strain on the system and need to avoided.

@QuarkToo I just read the article and it is exactly what I like to achieve. You can see on the scope that I reach the first stage. My new system will hopefully reach the second stage. Spark gaps do not always increase the performance. I have a concept in mind and give it a go.
