  • subaru grips well enough! compare the prices first!

  • MADE IN GERMANY!

  • Perhaps you should just rename the video... it is not VERSUS... there is no competition.

  • Cell phone ring while you were driving?

  • That looks like SO much freaking FUN!

  • Subarus sure are very good cars but those old 5-cylinder monsters hooked to the quattro drivetrain play in a diffenent league.

You have a fast and cool Subie but I don't think that this Audi was really trying...

  • Audi FTW!

  • Great video!!

  • Good driving skills both of you

  • GSM phone noise FAIL.

  • I think you need a chill pill m8 LOL

Its a track day, a "driver improvement day" not a race. Never said it was a race. Its a clip of me following a rather tasty Audi S2 round Oulton Park on a cold December Day. Sure, if he was trying, he could have toasted me no problem, but the thing is, he wasn't (hence the comment about his early braking). However, it makes for a nice video of a lovely car. I had a chat with the owners afterwards and they asked for a link to the clip. Its all about fun :)

  • After further analysis and deliberation of the video, it's been determined that the Audi in front is QRSport's Audi S2 Hillclimb car. On the Audi S2 forums, a gentleman states that there is a video of it being chased by a 400hp modified Prodrive Subaru...so someone is completely full of shit.

  • I'm confused. Did you want me to believe that your practically bone stock 260hp torqueless flat motor can conceiveably keep up with a 370hp AAN motor making nearly twice the torque or did you want me to believe that the Audi driver was really trying...??

  • @Vorsprung70 - Believe what you like my friend! Firstly, it wasn't a race but secondly, if you look closely at the video, check the braking points for the Audi compared to mine (listen for my braking). The only non-stock item on my car were AP Racing callipers and discs. Torque is around the 250 ft/lb mark.

  • @Pufftmw I believe that the title of the video is misleading due largely to the fact that if it wasn't a race, then where does the "vs" part come in? The braking? As far as your torque numbers are concerned, a flat 2.0-litre turbo making 260bhp @ 6500 rpm (which your stock engine's peak power curve is) pushes out more like 210 ft-lbs of torque, not anywhere near 250.

  • @Vorsprung70 torqueless flat motor? Where do you get your facts from? EJ253

SOHC - ISO 173 hp (129 kW) @ 5600 rpm, 166 ft·lbf (225 N·m) torque @ 4000 rpm and that's just the non turbo version of the flat 4. All the older and newer versions make similar numbers i.e. torque similar to horsepower. I really am sick of dumbasses making statements they can't back up.

  • @porsche558 It's an old joke between the Subie guys and the Quattro guys at Road America. We make fun of the Subie guys because we're waiting for them to get out of our way about halfway through the straights. They make fun of us because Audis are known to be unreliable or start on fire...apparently. We're all friends on and off the track, but that must be something you don't understand. Your numbers don't impress me. When your torque numbers are greater than your hp numbers, get back to me.

  • @porsche558 The Audi JT code 2.2 litre 10v I-5 produces 115bhp/126 ft·lbf. The WX code 2.1 litre 10v I-5 Turbo produces 160bhp/170 ft-lbf. The 7A code 2.3 litre 20v I-5 produces 170bhp/170 ft-lbf. And the AAN code 2.2 litre 20v I-5 Turbo produces 227bhp/258 ft-lbf. The only way a Subaru could have torque numbers like this is if you bolt a small jet engine to its back. Now that this dumbass has backed up his statements with facts. it's time to take your medicine like a good little chimp.

  • @Vorsprung70 Since your not comparing 4 cylinder engines how about Mazda's rotary engine which is good for 212 hp and 159 ft-lbs of torque, that's a difference of 53 vs a difference of 7 for the Subaru. And the figures I quoted were from Subaru's worst engines as far as torque per horse power....I didn't go and find the best engines as you have done with Audi.......perhaps you need to take your meds asshole

  • @porsche558 In case you haven't noticed Jethro, this video is doing exactly that. Comparing 4 cylinder power to 5 cylinder power...Christ, if I could've predicted that you'd be such a gaping cunt about it, I wouldn't have said anything because you know, it's apparently all about you, your infantile narcissism, marginal intelligence, unreliable Mazda rotaries and a strange masochistic need to be verbally bitch slapped, as I will undoubtedly accomplish every time...

  • Comment removed

  • @Vorsprung70 This is all about me? Reading your ridiculous response it's clear just how utterly full of yourself you are. Do you have mirrors in ever room so you can be sure to see and admire your self no matter where you are? I love how you call me Jethro......perhaps if I was from the South that name would have actually been almost an insult but I'm not. There's a wise old saying I guess you've never heard of "know thy enemy before doing battle".

  • @porsche558 If you put as much effort into reading (starting with the title of the video) and educating yourself as you did at being a loudmouth scrote hobbit, I'm willing to bet my URS4 that you'd shed that illusory superiority and attain the ability to know if you were overestimating your knowledge and underestimating mine. But for now, I guess everyone gets to read about your Last & Furious fetish for Hondas and your interest in GM rental cars.

  • @Vorsprung70 Oh wow wrong again. I'm not a fan of Honda or GM. Like I said always good to know thy enemy. So perhaps when your done being condescending and pretending to be intelligent you might take the time to see that I own a Subaru ( I've got multiple videos of it). If you dig further you would have seen that it's not my only Subaru either. However if you truly were smart you might have figured that out from the fact that I voraciously defended Subaru engines. Stop trying to look smart.

  • @porsche558 Okay.

  • @Vorsprung70 Ya those are all 5 cylinder engines. How about comparing the majority of cars out there? Most cars produce far less torque than horsepower. So Audi has a few high torque engines but that still doesn't make the boxer "torqueless" as you so eloquently put it. Consider Honda's 2.0L is good for 146 HP and 133 ft-lbs or torque, GM's ecotec inline 1.8 makes 140 hp and 129 ft-lbs of torque, Dodge's 2.0 found in the ACR makes 150 hp and 135 ft-lbs of torque to name a few.

  • that is not a Quattro! it's a quattro.

  • @vetex007 True.!

And i gather the quattro driver was doing all the mental stuff. Wheras our heroic scubaru driver was doing the "following", planning his woulda, coulda, shoulda monologue...S

  • @vetex007 don't type the God's name without first capital letter!

  • mabye im a bias prick but id take a subi any day

  • You guys rock! Passing a Toyota Yaris at 1m 45s???

  • perhaps irrelavent but i wish there were some videos comparing the two traction systems as they are the best of the best in AWD. (Not to be mistaken with 4WD systems such as ATTESA-ETS or AYC)

  • i kept thinking my phone was gonna ring

  • Audi doesn't do WRC since cancellation of Group B around 1986.

  • audi is beter in evrey things !rally ! la mans ! street cars! imsa ! pikes peak hill. and the list is long. audi is the best.

  • S2 rules baby! subs are awesome, but old audis are even better! :)

  • nah still take the subie

  • It would be helpful if you mentioned the type of car the camera is in, and that of the white car that is in front most of the race.

  • First thing to note is that it was NOT a race - it was a "track day" or "non-competitive driver improvement day".

My car (with camera) was a MY95 Subaru Impreza WRX RA - factory standard model except for uprated front brakes - 260BHP

Car in front was an Audi Quattro Coupe S2, stripped, caged, race spec and running 370BHP

  • @Pufftmw it wasn't a race but the vids called subaru vs quattro. nice

  • If you take track performance as indicator, Audi have won quite a lot of races when they started with their Quattro drive, AFAIK that was with Subarus already taking part (as Subaru had 4WD for quite some time). I'd love to compare a Subaru and an Audi of equal engine on nothing more than snow tyres. A Subaru is AFAIK lighter, my S4 weighs 1800kg which may not be as helpful. I know my snow chains are still brand new - never needed them :-)

  • And so it's perfectly clear to everyone out there. mexmiler doesn't know a LSD from a MIL, neither the audi in this video or the audis raced in group b, have anything close to the type of haldex awd found in newer VAG cars.(period)

  • Whatever kid, I've said what needs to be said, you can continue being a vw "luxury car" fan boy, and I'll just stick to the facts. A friend of mine has a 2002 A4 and can't keep up with me in my 95 Legacy on windy or dirt roads to save his life. Just sayin. Enjoy your jetta.

  • fact is AUDI>SUBARU, and the only car to ever blow the doors off my RS was a 97 JETTA VRT

  • what kind of allwheel drive is in your 95 legacy?

  • It's Subaru's continuous symmetrical AWD with a limited-slip center diff

  • talk about overrated, symmetrical AWD??? all my quattros have equal length drive shafts (symmetrical AWD) and my buddy's Jetta would blow the doors off of any car you've ever even sat in. Ever tare apart a subie motor??? no oil squirters, weak block design, open water jackets, and one chode of a crankshaft. its no wonder they don't make power. you obviously dont' know about the vw vr6, which means you obviously don't know about cars at all. stick to subarus bro

  • AUDI>SUBARU isn't there any real subie-masters on here that can back this dude up??? I could talk about Audi's all day and this dude just can't google quick enough

  • You can make this claim all day (which you have), but it won't make it true at all. Audi uses swedish garbage technology in half of their cars and a cheap poorly-engineered version of Subaru's system in their "high-end" vehicles. Everybody can see through that facade and knows that Audis are just vws with fatter stickers. So, have fun with your jetta/passat, and I'll just keep wiping the pavement with every chode-stroking bro like you that pulls up next to me with his weak-shit vw.

  • any motor can benefit from oil squirters, {cooler pistons, less chance of preignition} but the VR isn't a V6 it's a VR and is way more of a power house than ANY SUBARU MOTOR. Just like my 20VT in my coupe, the motor is just built from audi. subarus AWD is good because it's symmetrical(because motor is hung over front axel.AUDI DESIGN that is why subaru builds H blocks) 4 cylinders with the length over the front of a 2 cyl.

  • if you're stoked on subaru you would be stoked on audi. older than GM with ridiculous racing heritage. of course you know what a groub B rally car is but ever heard ofTRANS AM, IMSA GTO,?? all drive trains in the quattros = same technology as in my 91 B3 99 B5 and 07 B7

  • forget you bro, i'd like to see you say anything to a S2 driver or a rs4 driver, no stinkin subie driver can say anything....

  • whatever you say, champ. Like I said, have fun with the jettas. It's what the people want, lol

  • well any quattro driver is a champion because audi's are the most technologically advanced cars on the road. any audi race car from 80's 90's to present day will beat any subaru, which is why i ask what is the fastest subaru of all time that you know of??? maybe you can shut me up and show me what subaru is the real champion, and if its even ken block, i will laugh right in your face LOL

  • HAHA any quattro driver is a champion? Are you even serious? God, you're worse than the gti fanboy idiots. Quattro is NOTHING. The engines coupled to that system are pitiful and weak just like the system and all of its brainwashed idiot drivers. I wasn't aware that Ken Block was a Subaru?? LOL, god, you need to just leave and cut your losses, bro. Even if we were talking about Ken Block's subaru, it's got 466 hp/ 511 ft-lbs of torque... more horsepower and WAAAAAAY more torque than an R8.

  • Audi R8 TDI has nearly 811lbs of torque and 650hp if you want to talk about race cars, and it won a few races...I never changed any part of a quattro system, but had to change the center diff on my 2002 Impreza, 2 headgaskets on my 2003 Forester...I'll stick with Audi, 250000kms and still runs better than my Subies...Ken Block uses Subies because he's payed to and probably because they cost less...

  • @quattro4kss well you obviously have had bad luck with your subies. Ive heard people say the same thing about audies.

Uh no he probably uses them because they still make rally cars and audi doesnt?

  • ...and the R8 is 3 times the car than ANY of the volkswagen toy cars you were talking about. Get out of here, kid.

  • not talking bout the r8 bro, i'm talking about race cars here, audi 200. 4 door, built from the factory with the same 5 cylinder as in the race cars WHICH WILL BLOW THE DOORS OFF OF ANYTHING SUBARU CAN THROW AT IT

  • and i am dead serious about audis bro, can't you tell. now you can either see it for yourself on youtube, or i will show you photobucket pics of my 90 coupe quattro 20v turbo build up.

  • Wow! Pics?!?! No way!!! That would totally prove the validity of your statements!

Actually it wouldn't at all. lol. Your arguments are weak, just like the little vw motor in your 1990 jetta lol, that's cute though, at least you've got spirit.

    I'm done here

  • i wouldn't say more reliable, we can agree that they're easier to work on, but they're rust buckets, cuz they ain't got the galvanized body technology

  • and yes you are done here. i already denied you. audi's case design w. hallow shaft came first, AUDI>SUBARU

  • Haha, just keep telling yourself that, kiddo

  • ahhh i knew you'd be back mex. wanna know how to go fast? just youtube 'secrets of speed'.

  • Like I said before, you can say it a thousand times, but it still won't be true. That shit's junk and everyone knows it. Subarus are more reliable and better all-around cars from the factory as well as with mods than audis. Sorry if you can't get past your little biased opinion and see the truth. Just because you got daddy's hand-me-down junker audi doesn't mean it's the best. I knew that Subarus were the best, so I got one, whereas you were given an audi and decided it was the best after.

  • i'm from new england, theres rain and snow and salt. very unpredictable road conditions, which is why i drive quattros, 100% galvanized bodys, luxury and an unbeatable awd system.

  • Oil squirters? Wow, talk about something you don't need. The ej22t from the early 90s legacy had oil squirters and didn't need it. Weak block design? Don't make any power? Seriously? HAHAHAHA Have you ever even driven a Subaru? Clearly not. I've race jetta vr6s before and that pathetic 2.8 liter v6 only makes, what 180 hp? That ain't SHIT. That is the WEAKEST god damn v6 in the automotive industry, and just because it beat you, doesn't make it anything special, it just makes you slow.

  • LOL I wouldn't admit to being beaten by another jetta

And, no, the fact is that Audi is not better than Subaru, in any respect, except being overrated.

  • Think how dominate Audi would be if they got back into rally racing, they would make Subaru look like fools, no offence to u Subi lovers out there cause i loved them to i had a 04 wrx and a 95 Awd Legacy but then i grew up and got a 02 S4 quattro best car ever. Handling is alot better in mud snow rain and its surprisingly fast very powerful.

  • HAHAHA, grew up, good one.

"Yeah I got rid of my Subaru and got a jetta, cause I grew up"

LOL Get out of here with that shit.

  • when it comes to AWD, nothing beats the audi quattro, NOTHING.

  • spoken with true ignorance.

  • Hahaha, yeah, except for Subaru.

  • German vehicles are great, no doubt about that!

But Subaru AWD is hands down the greatest!!

  • S2 is too much heavy on front this is fact

:( torrsen quattro system is very good but need some on upgrade for racing...

Audi is FIRST SPORTS 4WD road and rally car!

Jensen and old Subi Leone71 is slow shit!

  • Audi's ain't bad ... until you need an AWD ... back in time they were great ... now others are better in the main thing that Audi brought to us, the AWD ...

  • until you need AWD? you mean audi's are good until you want RWD. Quattros are some of the most sure footed cars on the road. Subies do a good AWD because they do it like Audi,

  • Nope, I wrote it right, you understood it wrong. Do not understand me wrong, Quattro is very good for the everyday driver. I just want more than that. It is just that Audi does not put mechanical lsd anymore, Subaru does ... For my taste Subaru has an AWD that I prefer. I would be happy if Audi would put again LSDs and not only electronic. Of course it always depends what needs you have, for 95% of the Audi drivers (not to mention the status chasers ...) it is too much actually ...

  • Both of my quattros have torsion and lsd differentials. 1991 and 2007. YOU are mistaken, although Audi has released several models that aren't and you are correct on that, but Audi is big time in racing and always has been and their technology is top notch.

  • Agree on the 1991 Quattro, but which 2007 model do you have that has mechanical LSD? As far as I know, current Quattro has Torsen LSD in the middle and electronic LSD or just EDL at axles ... Audi is big in racing, noone says other thing, though I guess after the quit on rally, they do not need to feature cars with 2 or 3 LSD as Subaru or Mitsubishi does ... And of course, Audi is targeting on another customer than Subaru and Mitsubishi ...

  • 3 Quattro's

91 Coupe Quattro 20v turbo on 034 standalone

    07 RS4 Stock DD

99 A4 Q the only other awdrivetrain i have really been impressed with is the awd system in GTR

  • No they don't do it like audi at all. Subaru's system is completely different and THEIR OWN unlike Audi's use of the Swedish Haldex traction system. But nobody ever talks about that, eh? Didn't think so. Subaru does it best because their system is THEIR OWN.

  • Audi was first to show the world that AWD does have its place in a race car. They packaged both front and center differential in one, lightweight, convenient case. If i'm not mistaken this is how subaru does AWD aswell, but maybe i'm wrong and you can fill us all in how a subaru set up works. Arent subarus transverse mounted with a seperate transfer case >???? oh wait nope, they're just like audi's . just not as good in my opinion sorry!

  • And oh yeah you're talking about haldex??? VAG puts haldex in cars such as the A3, TT and R32. All transverse mounted engines with viscous locking center diff. Although Audi's with haldex are still badged as quattros, don't get confused and look at it as audi going back in time in AWD technology. Any questions i'll be happy to answer for you mex,

  • So basically, all you said is that I'm right, but you have nothing further to add, but still wanted to sound like a douche... am I getting that right?

    Yeah, I thought so.

  • nope you're gonna have to reread my previous information. have you ever driven either cars we're discussing?

  • and sorry i'm not trying to come off like a douche. i'm just trying to make sure the right information is getting out to all the youtubers. your previous comments were inaccurate, and obviously "out yo ass"

  • the audi is obviously faster.

  • whos the idiot that gave that a thumbs down? i mean it IS faster, and its also somewhat obvious..

  • it is obvious...but Subaru uses an AWD system that Audi used in the early 1980's!! it's just a shame Quattro isn't in rally any more...

  • Wrong subaru started to use AWD systems before audi (not in rally or any race) and that was in a stock cars.

  • @kobzon17 WRONG. Early Subies were manual locking. Not full time AWD.

  • @90QuattroKid It would be logical, because after all,Audi was the first one to come up with awd system for normal road cars and was the first one to put it one a rally car.The privilege of the first and the best awd system goes to Audi.

  • @90QuattroKid Subaru's AWD system is completely different using viscous coupling clutch rather than torsen mechanical limited slip differential. Subaru introduced current permanent AWD system in 1987, however first 'on-demand' AWD system was developed by Subaru in 1974 so it simply worked on different things those days.

Subaru debuted in WRC in 1993 so simply never had to develop rally-class AWD system earlier.

  • @90QuattroKid

Yes it's a shame , same goes for Subaru wish they'd go back to WRC.

  • @90QuattroKid When did they start banning Quattro in rally?

  • lol, 0:30. i was expecting "TURN OFF YOUR PHONE!!!" but i realised there are radios on board. :D

  • lmao i thought it was my phone xD

  • AUDI for LIFE!!!!

  • subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru subaru

    hahahaha:P:P check my vid.

  • AUTO UNION all the way!!! Don't forget who made the boxer, boxer diesel, wankel rotory, inline 5, V5. Volkswagen made the first prototype boxer diesel. THE GERMANS

  • subaru´s AWD is more better than the other ones

  • SUBARU IS THE BEST!

  • It's easy to follow someone into a corner, but watch the audi pull away after every corner, awsome...I own both Auids and Subarus and love 'em both.

  • Audi 4 life!

  • this is on a track

the Quattro was designed for rally and nothing but. (depending on the year)

not to mention the impreza is most likely new and the quattro looks to be an 80,s model

  • Quattro was a S2 Coupe which was race prepped not rally - manufactured between 1991 & 1994

Subaru was a Type RA made in 1995

  • @Pufftmw YOU want to say that your stock Subaru can keep up with an S2 Coupe prepared for race ?!?!

  • subaru cars are made for rallying too they make way better rally cars than audi

  • take ur bullshit and dump it somewhere else cause I sure as hell don't want it.

Translation: Shuttup, u don't know shit about subi's

  • Haha, they don't make shit now, cause they're broke as heeeell! Lowl!

  • come ooon..... why did you not overtake him???? You should've pushed harder...... ;-))

  • more than 5 minutes of "almost nothing"?.........brilliant........

  • more than 5 minutes of "almost nothing" ? ...brilliant.........

  • which car are we in and why are the sun visors down when its overcast?

  • ROFL

We are in a standard MY95 Subaru Impreza WRX RA with proper brakes, uprated LSD & a slightly better shock/spring combo. Sun visors are down because it was December & the sun was low in the sky meaning that it could dazzle you if you came round a corner unawares - overcast because the video quality is cr@p for which I make no apology ;)

  • though i love audi than subaru whatever reason is,DUNNO..

  • Hehe, it's actually funny all those subaru lovers but the truth is that even though subaru has an very good awd system, Audi is still better. Can't beat the german Engineering!! Quattro is a legend, while the SUBARU AWD is just very good!! (I've driven my frinds STI, I wouldn't change it with my stage 2- A6 2.7t)

  • standaert Quattro hasn an manuel/ UAto Adjust Central diff no front LSD i suppose.

But compared so a lagacy Forrester... same legue. But not to an STI or EVo AWD.

  • I'll see your A6 Stage 2 and raise you an STI stage 2 and money to spare ;)

You do have more luxury on those Audis though.

  • Hehe... A stage 2 STI would kill me... yeah, but If I really want a racing car, I wouldn't buy an A6 or STI, maybe an RS audi, M BWM, AMG Mercedes or porsche... of course, I would ahve to save a lot of money, though!!!! lol... so what I wanted is what I got, a luxury sports sedan with a perfect AWD system...

  • Subaru wins...

  • looked like the audi won

  • subaru

  • Audi was the first to introduce AWD to production road cars!

  • FALSE¡ Subaru have 4WD Cars Since 70'S the Subaru Rex, Subaru Sambar... And the subaru leone in 1977... Read About the history of the AWD...

The Quattro system is Since The Audi Quattro in 1981...

  • actually if im not correct...i think they were just the first to introduce AWD to rallying...im not sure so correct me if im wrong somebody

  • Audi was the first to introduce AWD to rally(1981) and to production cars!

  • not true! SUBARU released the FIRST EVER mass produduction passenger car - Leone '71

Looking at the movie - AUDI slows down the SUBARU in the corners and doing equal on the straights. If the SUBARU was in front in the beginnig - it would loose the quattro on the road.

  • I mean FIRST EVER 4WD, sorry

  • yea in big land cruiser type deals audi were the first to make light enough to put in a saloon

  • subaru have develop their AWD for 35 years, and they are the best!!!!!

  • Nope. Audi wins. Sorry subies!

  • You've obviously never driven a Subaru Wrx STi. There's no possible way Audi is better then Subaru. The Wrx Sti was made around Rally racing for god sakes. Of course the damn cars going have better AWD then the Audi. Subaru even put AWD in some of there vehicles before Audi. Audi sucks dick without AWD as well while Subaru is still good. Subaru over Audi all day, all night, all week, all year. Fuck Audi.

  • Keep in mind that Quattro is over 25 years old and still beating the jap's. had the rex been race equipt it would have won, however thats like you beating your grandmother in a wrestling match. Audi invented all wheel drive and will always be ahead of the japs that copied them, what i'd really like to see is a new r8 vs. an sti, then the audi would truely roast. Cheers, audi for life!

  • R8 vs GTR, GTR spanks the R8 for quite a bit less cash. R8 is posh, but you won't see one on the rally circuit. Audi is great, much history etc, but as for "Audi for life", whatever, unless you mean a life sentence at the stealership waiting on repairs.

  • lol good come back for the audi for life, i like it. I will belive the gtr when i see it, i actually test drove a brand new sti today and a new gti, while yes i will admit the sti was impressive its build quality scared, at 4000 all the little plastic bits would rattle, the car just feels cheap. for the same price the gti i far better built and though it lacked awd i have no doubt it could take on a sti, maybe im biased but i just prefer german cars over japanese carm AUDI FOR LIFE

  • It is cheap, for what you get. Bang for the $ all the way 4 sure. Also you can count on all those little plastic pieces rattling for years to come with no worries. LOL

Anyway I'm the first to admit the build quality, particularly fit and finish are superior in the Audis and VWs, but when it comes to me and my family, the safety and reliability supercedes my need for ths kiss of soft leather on my backside, and polished and quiet surfaces.

And when winter rolls around, it just gets more fun.

  • A GTI HAS BETTER BUILD? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Whats so funny? after test driving both I could clearly see that the vw was made of much higher quality materials. the sti felt... well "cheap" compared to the gti. i still think the sti is a fantastic machine. dont get me wrong its a sick car. lol and i love how the subie boyz come to the table with that "I drive an STI" attitude! its so stereotypical....

  • Actually, I believe Subaru introduced the AWD system in their DL in 1972. When was quattro introduced? 1980. Get your facts straight. Subaru > Audi all day any day. [gayvoice]Cheers![/gayvoice]

  • Let's face the facts.

the idea for AWD first appeared in 1902!

and yes subaru's "4x4" (1st 4wd car in japan) model launched in 1975... (have you ever seen one of them??????? I dont think so...)

so what.. as we all know

AUDI put AWD+racing on the map.....

  • Actualy your wrong also... Jensen introduced a awd car for the public in 1966. It was called the jensen FF.

  • Congrats on your great driving. You were on a race-prepped audi's ass in a standard rex!

  • The audi spanked that subi!

  • The audi spanked that subi all the way home. Only reason subi kept up was it was going into the turns hard and taking speed ques from the audi. Audi burns him on the curves and straights. Post your flames if you like.

  • Absolutely toasted me :-D

but then I would expect that of a fully race prepared car running considerably more power than my standard wrx ra.

It was a good laugh on a non-competitive track day/driver improvement day, it was only a shame that a red flag brought that session to a close. Awesome car.

  • I thought we were looking at apples to apples. Nice job then for sure.

  • both great cars!

  • woot First post, thats a shock, it has 19,211 views when i posted this. Anywhoo, a little long of a video but Go Subaru :)
