    That's what she said.

    *10 seconds later*

    That is what she said.

  • Those erasers are my some of my favorite kind.

  • It comin along great :) it's just hard to take you seriously though cause you sound like kermit X)

  • Artists are sexual, look it up.

  • He Sounds So Horny. LOLing! x)

  • Kneaded eraser is made of a combination of vulcanized oils, pumice, natural and/or synthetic rubber and sometimes a coloring agent. The type and amount of ingredients just depends on the manufacturer.

  • B-E-A-UTIFUL !!!!

  • I really like your videos, specially when you show the sketchbooks of your students. U are really good too... :D

  • My teacher told me it was made from a type of plastic but that's seriously unlikely ._.

  • can you teach me please lol.....

  • Where are you from?

  • ohh so that's what the modeling-eraser is for! :O

  • I skipped to the end of the video, and there was literally no difference in the picture. o.o

  • @kartie64 no there are some differences, look more closely

  • Awesomeeeeeeee.

  • gorgeous

  • This particular eraser is a gomme/rubber "mie de pain", bread crumb(?) in french.

    Rubber and mastic resinas.

  • F.A.K.E!! i see u paint it in another video with pencil

  • he...digs the way it looks..

    thats old school bro...(;

  • Not reading all the posts.. I'd say that "layer" from your eraser is the oil from your finger tips...

  • Ебануться...Великолепно!! )))))

  • The eraser is called kneaded eraser... I think.

  • chest muscles?? haha

  • i need to know where you got that picture...

  • would u draw a pic after a photo?

  • Im 8 and I draw a little like you, :D

  • @LBPMarioDog123 ure are 8 and i bet ure lying

  • I have that eraser. The reason to not use it too much is because the rubber rubs off and dosn't erase as well, so if you used it a lot then, ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... Don't press hard.

  • SHIT! HE TALKS WAY TOO MUCH!

  • i have one too i am an amature at home artist but a need it eraser is made of rubber :P

  • Is that a clay?

  • @illustratorjdd kneaded eraser!

  • my first reaction:

    -HOLY S--- O_O , damn i suck at drawing *foreveralone.jpeg*

  • the ear is way to low on the head, and a little to far to the back

  • "I cinda dig that"

  • it looks exactly the same at the end as it does in the beginning.

  • isnt the nose a bit too dark? just asking

  • nothing wrong with using old-school techniques. those methods are whats produced some of the greatest art!

  • is this a tip for erasing drawing or r u just talking like an idiot?

  • i wich i could paint like that i would paint naked girls :D

  • Kneading erasers are made of a material that resembles gum or putty and it's function is to absorb or pick up graphite or charcoal particles. And unlike rubber erasers, kneading erasers can be washed!

  • deleting that material is clay?

  • Awesome!

  • I only know that pink erasers are made of rubber. I don't know about the other types of erasers.

  • Thank you. Very helpful

  • "i dont like to use the eraser too much" - the dont name your fucking video "eraser drawing"

  • whats the name of the eraser?

  • did u make that eraser PLEASE asnwer

  • @wolfboy243 Its called a Neaded Eraser. You are able to form it the way you want, so you can erase and create tiny details.

  • Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • I always like the look of the less finished drawings. I thought that this was almost done in the how to draw hair video. The darkness of the hair takes away from the face.

    Very nice though.

Thank you for posting these videos. I am a professional artist, painter. You can see some of my stuf on my facebook page under my name 'Bhakta Peter'.

    Love,

    pete

  • very nice, and fun

  • wow his details are amazing!!!

  • The hair looks beautiful! What kind of pencil do you use?

  • Blu tac works just as well.

  • @PresidentChoob Black Boxy rubber I doubt there is a better rubber in the world. I find these putty type rubbbers smear and smudge way to much and take to long to knead to become soft for use.

  • where can i buy that kinda eraser .,.,., thats awesome!!

  • @theoldstylefailures any art store or craft store. Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc. plus any art store will almost certainly have them brand he uses i believe is DESiGN Kneaded Rubber.

  • jabbawockeez

  • Dude what the fuck, you didnt do anything, the draw is the same as in the beginning

  • Comment removed

  • @altDIY It's not one of those speedpaintings to show off the hard work behind the result. It's a tutorial on how to actually draw.

  • what kind of eraser is that?? O.o

  • @Miyakies it's kneaded eraser / art eraser...

  • @Miyakies sometimes... they call it "Art Gum" too....

  • @Miyakies This eraser is very useful... cuz if u buy 1, you don't need to buy again (of course if you lost it... you need to buy 1 again) cuz every time you use it... it won't getting smaller... actually it's getting bigger (i think)... it just absorbs the lead of the pencil when u use it...

  • lol i dig this

  • What Kind Of Pencil You Use for Hair?

  • i suck at drawing so i need a full body tutorial that is easy and not so perfect

  • I learned a lot from this vid. Keep up the good work, dude!!

  • I would really like to know what kind of pencil this is! :)

  • You have cheap eraser, that's why it lefts some substance use for example Cretacolor one.

  • this is amazing...

  • . . . That's a nice looking eraser. . . Jk I found one on my school's stage and use it every day now. . . I just hope it's not gum.

  • Most of the time, it is better to use a pencil that is "not so sharp" better than one that has been recentley sharpened.

  • I drew the invisible man once. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. Turned out quite good!

  • @trodd1sox good job convinced him to model for u naked

  • @trodd1sox well i drew Casper in a snowstorm

  • We don't have an art store here, can I use kneaded flour as a kneading eraser?

  • lol please do, mysunnydays2009

  • You can always try ordering one online. It's a great tool to have.

  • Thank you ! We just learned how to move an eraser over a paper without touching the drawing.

  • You have a gift for this, man. Good luck and keep up the amazing drawing.

  • thanx for the tip!!!

  • yeah youre right, ive got the same one in blue^^ they are much better than the usual rubbers!

thanks for this tip, very nice drawing. i already study art since one and a half year but no one in my class can draw hair like this Oo i will try to "erase" highlights next time we have to draw portraits =) so thanks again^^

  • what a pencil?

    HB-B 1,2..or H?

  • wow, it's beautiful!

  • Amazing!!!

  • nice drawing, but i dont think this eraser leaves minimal portion of substance on paper, I would think it's some sort of glue

  • nice :D

  • to have a sharper pencil, use lead holders- they are different from mechanical pencils because the led is thicker and the point can get sharper using a lead pointer

  • ahh what is that

  • lead holders look exactly like mechanical pencils- the only difference is that you can sharpen the lead in lead holders to make it extremely sharp, plus the lead is thicker, so it doesnt break as easy as mechanical pencils

  • She's beautiful...

  • uber drawing! (:

  • i luv this sketch it absolutly beautiful :)

but if u could could u make a video on how to start the hair not just tweek an already started pic :) thanks

  • That´s really beautiful....

  • are you stupid? hes an illustrator, which means he illustrates, he doesnt create. BTW didnt you notice he says "reference" multiple times throuout the video? thats what he calls what hes drawing

  • awsome dis is so cool!!!!!!!!!!

  • this drawing or portrait is awesome!!! it kinda looks like katherine mcphee but i know its not her.

  • thats ok though, i mean how many of us really can draw that good from imagination or memory??? maybe you can, but i know i can't...yet anyway.

  • nice stuff goin on with this one, i don't like the hard line for the nose, but that's me, and i realize you have to show contour to the students... if memory serves, kneaded erasers are usually made from un-vulcanized (vulcanizing is a heat treating/chemical process-think of fresh vs. stale rubbbery cheese)rubber, some are made from other stuff but i think that's the primary material... love the videos...take it easy

  • @1984drc I agree with you on the hard line on the nose, Should soften it a bit...I can't stop staring at it...too distracting, lol

  • Amazing..

  • Dude isn't the ear little off ? :)

I learned some very nice things from your youtube channel, i don't have money for your site but thanks anyway

  • inspiring

  • YOU ARE AWSOME!!!

  • kneaded erasers are good but to a certain extent for shades and lights

  • hello, i am from Germany, can i join your class or is it for americans and klingons only ? i understand most of what you say, if you speak loud and slowly. i can draw trees, clouds and wicked girls. Danke

  • this picture bothers me.. especially the nose, the outline is really dark

  • its unfinished, its part of a hair tutorial

  • the erasers are made of sex
