Richard Armitage is incredibly talented, dynamic, and drop dead gorgeous, but Daniela Denby-Ashe seems miscast and not to carry her weight, The movie belongs to him. She is an excellent actress and great in character, but in Hollywood she would not be given this role. She does not match him in looks (a major flaw). They do seem credible individually but not together. In Hollywood they call it "lack of chemistry". I see Kate Winslet in this role, or Helena Brotham- Carter equivalent.

I think there was great chemistry between he and Daniela...Margaret in the book, does not express her feelings easly and her character interpretation is not that simple...Kate Winslet and Helena B Carter are both talented actress but definitely too old to play Margaret...she is only 19 in the book!
