    Solid ! Great to hear that my videos assisted on your repairs. Note: Just make sure you Bleed your coolant system afterwards. Keep an eye on the temperature gauge for the next day or so, in case there's still some trapped air pockets in the system. Don't forget to Subscribe & I appreciate your comments.

  • @bimmersgarage, I noticed you have green antifreeze, I just replaced the thermostat on my e46 and had to mix green with the beamer blue. I want to swap it all out, should I flush or just drain and add?

    Whenever you do a coolant change, you should go ahead and flush the entire system then refill with the appropriate mixture.

  • am I seeing correcty or the bmw "lungs" are no lifting up with the hood. can't really see that clearly but on mine (e46 328ci european) the lungs are attached to the hood.

    Yes, the BMW kidneys/grills are attached to the hood.
