  • Mama's a bitch!

  • On second viewing... I'm quite angered at the tone of that patronising whank!! FFS, it appears young Jimmy P was probably rattling the presenters daughter at the time.....or missus!!

  • Jimmy was probably getting his hole at that age!!

  • the drummer fucking represented his hood beast

  • www

  • es la musica que estava demoda cuando the beatles apenas se estava formando....

  • es la musica que estava demoda cuando the beatles apenas se estava formando....

  • where the hell did u get this clip from :D

  • they gotta be upper/middle class talking about bio research etc. back then it was virtually unknown and needed education just to spell the word. but aint i glad jimmy (james) page did`nt bother with that. His guitaring was very basic back then it just go`s to show what a lot of practice and dedication can do............

  • 11666!

  • is a veryyyyyyyyy god song

  • @hotrodguitar327 Now he's a mother fucking wolf !

  • I believe this is the beginning of the Punk movement.

Not that multi - coloured Pop punk music nowadays, i mean the idea of rebelling against the system.

  • They actually gave people jobs as TV hosts like that?

  • hee hee, check jimmy out! good god! and check out the double bass player!¬ ha ha! british 50s double bass players couldnt solo, they didnt know how to "slap". notice that when the music kicks back in after the bass break, the clicking that shud come from the bass is coming from the percussionist. typical of UK bands of the time. in studio, they would have one bass playing, and another hitting strings to imitate slapping! great stuff! more more more

  • @gnowave what clicking comes from a bass????? the clicking is coming from the tapping of the hardware you tool u dont make sense

  • @kratoslinkmaster

look, i didnt SAY the clicking, or SLAP IMITATION was coming from the bass, i simply stated that in the 50s british double bass players didnt know how to slap like the american rockabilly and rythm and blues guys could so the drummers would have to click sticks on the sides of their drums, OR also, they would in the studio have 2 bass guys, 1 playing another making slappy noises. easy to spot (tommy steel "elevator rock") type double bass slapping into youtube, view hits PRICK

  • @gnowave AND that that is what happened in this tune. its not slagging mr page off,. its stating piece of british rock history.

  • As a skiffle player (washboard) back in 1957 I found this piece fascinating.

  • I'm hopelessly addicted...here's Jimmy Page in a skiffle band (late 50's).

  • 0:57 GUT BUSTING SOLO

  • I would never have guessed the Jimmy ("Mudshark " infamy )Page would've started out that normally. It is always the quiet ones ya know...

  • Well, didn't Jimmy do some future "biological research" with, among others, Chrissie Wood and Lori Maddox? hehe

  • Cute as hell!

  • this is one of the most inspirational things i have ever seen

  • That bass player is awful. Like, it hurts to listen to it.

  • jimmy shoulda stayed with them.....he coulda been huge!!!!

  • @irishswift i hear he went on to be with some local Dread Zeppelin tribute band

  • @PastaCheifFilms yeah, he played the cowbell and made the tea

  • @irishswift he works at my Tescos Metro

  • @PastaCheifFilms haha no one can whee a trolley like young james, god love him

  • funny xD

  • Imagine if Jimmy Page went into medicine instead? Unreal.

  • I'll never see Led Zep the same way again. Is the other guitarist Pete Keegan?

  • If Jimmy Page would have quit music, we might have a cure for cancer... but, I'd rather have Led Zeppelin and a tumor than have neither of them.

  • Kind of funny, but good video.

    Thanks from Brazil.

  • Eww, that guy at the beginning was creepy...

  • It is amazing that this clip is around and great you showed as much as you did plus the quality is fantastic ...what a treat ..before Jimmy was big .

  • I love watching stuff from before it became well known, and the lack of appreciation of the significance at the time.

For example, who'd believe that little Jimmy Page was vastly responsible for something later called 'Heavy Metal'?

I much enjoyed that aspect to this clip, as well as being a fan of skiffle.

Thankyou for satisfying a couple of my yearnings at the same time.

  • WTF?!?

  • Boy, it sure would be nice to see more of this kind of supportive, low-key stuff on TV these days instead of everything being a competition. And bless them for their dreams of becoming scientific researchers.

Makes me think of those alternate reality science fiction stories... "Oh, you're from the timeline where Jimmy Page became a musician instead of finding the cure for cancer? Well, that must be VERY different."

  • Check out The Severed Limb on myspace Sir. Five young fellas from London and Essex playing skiffle, but writing original material and excellent live.

  • amazing video! it's always cool to see how legends started out.

  • who is Jimme page of them ?

  • The young boy talking with black hair.

  • @mattan89 The one that says he's jimmy page.
