peronacedressage, it is very unusual to find someone riding at grand prix 'for a long time' since most dressage riders (80% or more) ride at training level. what's the name of your grand prix horse, and where do you show him?

anky has lots of pastures at her farm but they can't turn out when they are at shows. alot of european horses get hand walked to graze - they love it.

my grand prix horse was named joewell. he was long listed for the US for athens and i was fortunately enough to earn my USDF Gold Medal on him in 2006. he's now moved on to an older rider who wants to enjoy a schoolmaster! thanks for watching the show! :)

I found some of this to be very funny. To get famous and big in Dressage you need money. Ots of it. Millions. I have been riding at Grand prix for a long time now, but never get any notice because I am always on the Qrt Horse and not a Warmblood. People, warmbloods are better movers then most breeds. You are only as "good" as your horse when it come sto getting notice. Anky would be nowhere today if she was training Mulls.

No I'm pretty sure that other horses other than Anky's horses are boarded there, so I think she means that other peoples' horses would turned out, but her own horses would get handwalked. But I see what you mean! I thought that way too!
