  • I've enjoyed your videos, thank you for sharing them.

  • Enjoyed your videos, thank you for sharing them.

  • Yep then we can utterly destroy the environment in Alaska. Have you seen the prices in Alaska, the crime and rape levels. Who made this propaganda.

  • @asymthought The cost of living is high, few good paying jobs with benefits, few unions so employers exploit workers big time. Hunters are killing off the big game, and people disrespect the land. There haven't beeen any recent big gold finds, and you can suffer like hell if you go up there with little money and unprepared. Native Alaskans in the bush are stressed cold and hungry. This guy isn't telling the whole truth. Ak can kill you.

  • @asymthought Further sourdough Alaskans aren't all that friendly in some areas to newbies who after they experience the winters often pick up and leave. Truth is that peoplefromthe lower 48 comewith their attitudes and destroy whatever is good. They bring their consumerism, materialism, elitism, drugs, racism and disrespect for nature. This guy is trying to supplement his meager income, because wages are falling and prices are increasing.

  • I am so depressed living in new jersey, my small house has 15,000 a year in property tax alone, then i have 900 a month in natural gas and electric...I need to get out of the rat race, new jersey makes me hate life.

  • So you are a truck driver in Alaska huh? I was searching these videos to try and figure out how to move to Alaska. I am one of those rat race truck drivers...I HATE it here in Washington. I drive the same boring route everyday...Portland to Seattle 5 days a week. I have looked for truck driving jobs in Alaska on the internet, and have no luck what-so-ever! Any suggestions or help in this matter would be appreciated! I need to get the hell out of the lower 48 before I lose my damn mind!

  • any hints where to buy some land.

iv been wanting to move there

  • I think if I wasn't living in Poland, I would like to make a move to where you are - great open country! I also agree that more people are getting tired of living in cities and are seeking to get back onto the land where you can produce your own food rather than buying the chemically produced rubbish from the supermarkets!

  • Should be there soon.

  • AWESOME!!! I love to hear you talk about Alaska,,,,,I'd move here, if I didn't already live here..

  • LOL, ex Homerroid here (in Homer from 1975 to 2001) Winters started feeling way too long for these old arthritic bones, and besides, it seemed that there were a WHOLE bunch of folks moving up to Alaska from Outside, many coming because they heard of the Permanent Fund dividend, bringing an entitlement mentality and anti-development California style wish for rules and regulations with them. You can only hope that a few Alaska years under their belt will change that line of thought...

  • Great video and commentary. Thanks.

  • Its a very real prospect that we may loose Alaska to Russia in the next few decades. Unfortunate but reality is more bizarre than fiction. But hey, russian may not be all that bad.

  • nice video, thx

  • wonderful. Nature is my most powerful teacher. bless you

  • Zarbod,

I am glad it worked out for you.

See you on the Kenai river this summer dip netting for reds.

Ill be the guy with the big grin.

  • Hey, thanks again for the job tip! Life here in Alaska is so amazing! I've seen moose 3 times in 2 weeks. I'm looking at some land across the inlet. Last weekend I filmed the Iditarod.

Buying my place on the Kenai was the best thing ever! Getting ready to move out to the real wilderness in a few years.
