Likewise for me, I saw DS supporting Ultrasound, thought they were great. I went to see them on their (last?) headlining tour @ Newcastle uni...nothing could have prepared me for it..the physical force of the band playing is like nothing else I've ever seen before or since. I'm amazed this band isn't better known, they were the best band of the 90's EASILY.
Never forget first time I heard this - closing DS's set supporting Ultrasound[urgh] at Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms in about 1998/99 - I nearly shat myself. But then, I'd spent the previous 30 mins doing that... [already had the first two EPs at the time, Gracedelica changed my musical life...]
Feel the power, that set you did when you came to Liverpool will stay with me forever. And you were really nice to take time out to talk to me and my friend on your tour bus after the show. Hey! whatever happened to that video footage which was recorded on that tour...
