the easier way to get a helicopter is the mission false idols. just type in the pedestrians follow you code then go to the destination on shoreside vale and steal the helicopter

I did it on ps2 but when i was flying for a while the screen went black and it said: wasted mission failed. Why??? How can I put the chopper in the garage without that happening? anyone else with the same problem? Plz help

But then again it's a matter of opinion (if like killing mutant things get re4 and vice versa)
