too bad it went out of production. It was listed in Guitar World (a very honorable and respected magazine) as one of the greatest things that happened to the guitar cuz it inspires kids to learn guitar. I got Guitar Hero when I was 11 and learned the real thing when I was 12, and it prepared me on how my fingers should move, and what songs are cool. And it exposed me to Slash, who is now my hero

I'd say I'm reasonably good at Guitar Hero, and that hasn't made me any less of a guitarist! Not brilliant at playing guitar, but I can pull a few tunes out and I'm proud of that! What more do you need?
