i got married there in 1983.the beer is very strong. i remember after drinking pear brandy and pivo my legs stoped working..lol. the people where very friendly.went to lake bled and a tour of slovenia. i would recamend its a great place to go. i still have good pals there very fond memorys.

Beautiful city Slovenia. Lake Bled being my fav place in the world so tranquil and laid back, its like being in another time and place. They have the best honey and honey products that ive ever tasted mmmm delicious honey brandy and them deep cream cakes that are famous to the lake bled area.♥

I'm from Ljubljana and I'd just like to say that it's not true noone is friendly! You know, people being nice to you actually depends on how you treat people. :) I mean, I've been somewhere around Europe and people are totally the same everywhere coz every single person is their own person and saying everyone from Slovenia is friendly is just as saying that everyone from the US is either fat or TOO thin.

And that's not fair.

I visited the Logarska Dolina Valley there, as well as Ljubljana.... beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I just hope that as the country grows they don't begin to trash it as the U.S. has done.

I was in the Beautiful Country of Slovenia last May. I travel often, and Slovenia was my very first time in Europe. I must say, visiting my friends in Slovenia, was my very BEST vacation ever! This video brought back great memories! It is a Country full of very friendly and caring people. They are very proud of their Country and should be! I was able to see most of Slovenia! It is so beautiful and clean! Ljubljana was amazing!
