What do you mean by this "matrix shit" ? Just those scenes where Leon fought against Krauser ? To me that is a tiny part of the whole gaming experience and its still realistic like last REs. What does the gameplay have to do with the plot ? I think one really great pro about RE4 gameplay is that now you really can be surprised from behind now that there is no fixed camera view revealing nearly everything. It might be that ppl are tired of zombies thats all. Zombie is kinda old element of fear.
No wait i didnt mean the camera or the great improvements of the gameplay, i was talking about monsters, enemies and stuff like that, i mean why did the virus have to get changed into a sort of power got by the infected?you know what i mean?..yeah zombies can be boring but what do you think about the remake of RE1?isnt it amazing?scary?and more realistic than humans with matrix powers or schizophrenic action?(by mentioning matrix i do not want to say it suck, of course not! ;)
I think I see your point. Sure the whole series changed a lot and the fans might be more or less divided. My little sister has RE Remake and it is scary as all hell :D In a way RE series has turned more action based with certain elements gone. Zombies remind of brain dead humans so yes, zombies do sound more realistic, one could imagine what zombies were like in real life :D
