  • Omg! I just realized who you look like! Live Tyler! :)

  • You mentioned you use neither hot nor cold water to splash after cleansing.

Is cold water bad for the skin?

  • I know I'm going to love this when I come home in the early hours after a night out...

  • I am definitely going to get some of the products you have used, this is so helpful, because I admit I am horrible with taking makeup off or cleaning my face. But i want to start taking care of my skin. What do you think about people using vaseline for taking off makeup?? Does it clog the pores??

  • This is a fantastic tutorial. I have been cleansing very similarly for several years now but wish I had started caring for my skin at a much younger age. I think as teens or young adults we sometimes take youth for granted and forget we, too, will age. I'm so glad young women have you and youtube to learn early to care for their skin. Thanks, Lisa!

  • Hey Lisa, big fan! Please do a tutorial for make up and foundation for indian skin. Really struggling. T have wheatish indian skin, and not the best skin due to acne. teenager too! Please help!! Thank you <3

  • You are so youthful and your skin is amazing. Wow.

  • great video:D very informative- i absolutely LOVE to hear what you, of all people, have to say about taking care of your skin. i think you should make more films like this so we can all stay looking as apallingly gorgeous as you:)

  • you look amazing with your hair tied up:)

  • I love your voice.

  • Very informative as usual. Thanks, Lisa!

  • i only use foundation, concealer and powder everyday, no eye makeup, can i use bioderma to remove them ?

i usually go to shower after wiping with bioderma, so i will wash my face again in the shower with my regular cleanser.

    are these steps enough ?

  • how can i get purity? i checked on superdrug website. I couldnt find it. ?

  • @an8ification it seems to have become very hard to get and I dont know why. The company is still going strong. Maybe contact them and fine out were they are selling now X

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom and @an8ification I just checked purity's website - they're at Holland & Barratt now or you can buy online at their own website which is purityorganicskincare.co.uk - hope that helps - about to buy some myself!

  • @an8ification You can get it in Holland and Barrett :)

  • what skin type do you have? I have ridiculously dry and sensitive skin & bobbi browns skincare is the only one that dosen`t aggrevate my skin- are there any more you would recommend?

REALLY appreciate if you could possibly answer to this comment :) xx

  • @benny5874 I have made a video called 'My skincare' in two parts, you can find all the info there x

  • i use wipes then i wash my face with cleanser

  • Great video!! I really liked it!!

  • i love you! i just found out about you today and i find your skin beautiful with and without make up ^.^ i will use your techniques :3 you are awesome :)

  • You are so like me.

No matter how great the make up remover is or how much time I spend with it, I don't feel that my face is clean until I touch the water. LOL

  • Hi Lisa, do you know if there is anywhere I could purchase the keraskin huile nudite from the US or order to be shipped out here?

  • Do you use the bioderma just for your eye makeup or can you use it for all of it?

  • Lisa, I have an important make-up removal question. I have recently been loving the Clinique Lash Power mascara but it's one of those "tubing" type ones that is supposed to come off with warm water. The trouble with it is that I find it kinda gets clumpy and gets into my eyes regardless of how careful I am removing it. Do you have any suggestions for this? I love the mascara because it is the only one that doesn't transfer on me, but I don't want to hurt my eyes in the removal process.

  • You have such gorgeous skin. Just wondering, would you recommend Bioderma as a pre cleanse? As I noticed you only used it on your eye make up. I have quite oily, problematic but sensitive skin and use an oil cleanser at the moment but was thinking of purchasing Bioderma to remove my make up and use the oil just for cleansing. Would you recommend that? Thanks Lisa, you're videos are amazing, you make everything look so easy! x

  • i use this bio derma makeup remover on my eyes...n my lashes started falling off...last time i used it 5,6 lashes have fallen off...this product doesnt work for me...i use the same method as u showed

  • I like your techniques.

  • dear lisa, this video was really helpful but i wanted to ask you something because everytime i take off my eye make-up my lashes are falling out. its getting worse and i don't know what to do i almost tried everything i tried vaseline, olive oil, castor oil and i also did not apply any mascara for weeks and nothing helped. because my lashes are black it does not show that much but i really want to have my old lashes back and i hope you can help me :)

  • Thank you for the video so much! It will be very useful for me.

Also liked you nail polish! So chic!

  • Ahhh. It appears Purity Organic skincare line is discontinued. I've been to 11 Superdrug locations in London and none of them carry it, even though the website makes no mention of their product being discontinued.

Do you recommend another brand that has a similar conditioning/lotion cleanser?

  • thats realy so helpful d last fast track , jst revised back al d steps , i wish u put them in al ur videos so if any one is in hury she can get d main points jst by watching d last track,

    is any one else agree?

  • oh thank you for this. have never seen such an elegant makeup removal. thank u.

  • Have you used Purity Made Simple cleanser by Philosphy? If so, what do you think of it?

  • Thank you for such a helpful tip. I love you!

  • I LOL'd at 11:02

  • here in Germany you can order Bioderma in the pharmacy. It takes only a day and they have it :) Don't know how it in others countries.

  • I use an oily makeup remover but I then use a normal remover to clear up anything I missed and it takes away the oil as well.

  • Question: Why did you put that half of the disk underneath the eye?

  • @Victorian9322 - because if you don't, you'd end up looking like a racoon, all of the makeup from your upper lid and lashes (mascara, eyeshadow, liner etc.) would just transfer on your skin under the eyes :) And also, because this way, when you close your eyes and put the second soaked cotton pad on, your lashes are covered in Bioderma from both sides, and mascara gets off completely without any rubbing ;)

  • How do you think bioderma would work with removing foundation as well. I have very oily skin.

  • You can get bioderma on sasa :3 going to order it sometime soon.

  • You're beautiful! And this video's awesome! Thanks for this tip. :)

  • I looove putting my make up on at the beginning of the day and I love taking it all off at the end of the day. =) Both feel equally good!

  • What color are you wearing on your cheeks ? You look amazing! :)

  • I need to "suit up" everyday for work and wear full makeup to ensure I have a polished appearance. I saw this vid when you first published and have adopted the techniques. Now at the end of a long day, I look forward to spending private time removing makeup, cleaning and massaging and feeling as if I've removed the harsh day from my face. I then smile in the mirror. Thank you! :)

  • @ShesInLosAngeles What a wonderful comment. :)

  • Thank you so much for this video. Ive been avoiding fake lashes because when i remove them i always end up pulling out my own lashes. This has been so helpful. Now i know how easy it is to remove them =) so thank you!

  • I love your nail polish what is the color ?

  • @lovecandymachine Take a look at 3:30

  • @tinafromohio thanks :)

  • its very simpl

do you know 3 in 1 from make up studio or not

this 3 in 1 remover make up

    thanks alot lisa

  • I seriously love your shirt, would you be so kind as to tell me where you got it from?

  • Has anyone ever tried removing false eyelashes using oils? (e.g. olive oil)??

  • if we can't get bioderma, what are some other removers u recommend? xx

  • i REALLY appreciate this video but how would you take off waterline and tightline eyeliner??

  • @ih8pollo If I'd had extra liner on my waterline I would have used a Q tip soaked in bioderma and swept it along gently x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom WOW. frankly, im so surprised that you responded so quickly! you are a celebrity to me so you responding back is a very VERY big deal to me. Thank you for the advice (it really did work much better than scrubbing my eyes with soap haha!) but seriously, you are an inspiration to me as a PERSON more so than as a makeup artist. You seem like such a wonderful person and i can only imagine what its like to meet you in person. You are so AWESOME!! >< Much love from new york! ~Sunny

  • I really wanted to try the Purity Organic Cleansing Lotion, but can't find in the U.S. Do you know of anything comparable that I can try?

  • @misscheri Hi :) I'm not Lisa, but I also live in the US and I was also interested in trying out the Purity Cleansing Lotion. They don't have any stockists in the US, so I found some similar products by Avalon Organics, Aubrey Organics, and Andalou naturals. My favorites are Andalou Naturals' Apricot cleansing milk and Avalon Organics' Vitamin C cleansing milk. They have very similar textures to the one Lisa used in this video, so I highly recommend them. I hope this was helpful!

  • @cbalation I actually use the Avalon Organics Vitamin C cleanser. I love it but am always looking to try something new. I'll look for the others you mentioned, thanks!

  • beautiful with and without makeup x

  • What brand of circular pads do u have x

  • I couldn't believe it at first (eye make up removal) but it's so efficient indeed!!! Thanks Lisa.

  • I have a very taboo question to ask, I too love the feeling of having all of my makeup off and my skin nice and pampered with all of my skin care at the end of the day, is it sooo terrible to use a bar soap like Ivory to take off your makeup? It literally takes everything off in one wash! I moisturize verrry well all the time, so I wonder if it's okay? I hate oily eye makeup removers, I just end up with a racoon mess, and I do use my clarisonic every other day. Is it okay??

  • @lovelylouro Sorry, I'm not Lisa, but I do use Bioderma Crealine and it is not oily at all. Your skin feels really toned and clean after. I use it over my whole face, including my eyes, and I feel much cleaner than when I use other makeup removers. Anyway, all I know is that the ingredients in soap are REALLY bad for your face. Do you use a different cleanser with your Clarisonic?

  • I absolutely love your ring you wear in this video and in some others. Please could you tell me where you got them <3. I really love your videos they're an inspiration for me. greetz from germany!

  • Thank you<3

  • Brilliant tip about tearing a cotton pad in half, soaking in makeup remover & placing under the eye!

Watching you do this was one of the "why didn't I think of that" moments lol

Thank you for yet another tip loaded and very practical video.

    Donna xoxo

  • Excellent advice. I always worry about losing my natural lashes during eye makeup removal. I'm going to follow your lead from now on.

  • Hi Lisa, I'm a recent subscriber and I'm enjoying your videos a lot...I recently watched the videos about you skincare and I saw that you use mostly not so expensive brands. So I would like to know what is your opinion on Kanebo and La Prairie?

  • Why are you so stunning?!

  • 2 questions, 1 what color is on your lips and 2 where did you get the top? love your style love. thanks.

  • @LittleMrsMiddleton Macs Lady Danger on my lips... Sonia by Sonia Rykiel top x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom it's gorgeous! :)

  • Hi Lisa, thank you for this, lovely to have some good advice on skincare! Bit of advice seeking here; is there a range of cleansers and toners etc that you would recommend for blemish/spot prone skin? I don't want to use anything too harsh that will leave my skin raw and stingy, but also nothing too greasy. Any brands or ranges that you can recommend would be fantastic. Thank you so much for your videos, they're very inspiring, have me reaching for my make up brushes with every watch! :)

  • Hi Lisa,

Fantastic video. I am always looking for another way to remove the makeup from my eyes and your idea is brilliant. I also have sensitive eyes and LOVE the Purity cleanser.

I do have a question though.. I like a good face massage and I always give myself one of these when I cleanse my face in the evening. However, I don't always wear foundation (but I do always wear blusher). Would you massage your forehead first and then your cheek area if you wore only blusher?

    Thanks!

  • you're so relaxing... :)

  • Tie-ing your hair really suits you!

  • what color do you have on your nails?

    it is gorgeous

  • I need that make up remover....the one that I have right now is oily =_=

  • I copied your makeup removal techniques and my skin is so much better, didn't realize how much makeup was still on my skin without doing the second cleanse. Thanks for the inspiration. Also, I love when you suggest products, I always want to buy them because I know they'll be good!

  • Are there any similar products for the Bioderm and the Purity Organic Skincare for U.S. viewers? I would love to try this system but alas, I don't live ANYWHERE near a Superdrug! :(

  • This video. Is. Amazing. Like, I can't even. Begin.

This has taught me so much!

  • red lips loook sooooooo good on you!!

  • are you secretly natalie portman's twin? :)

  • From one Lisa to another..I have good skin and I rarely wear anything..but I love watching your videos...why? You have a wonderful voice. :)

  • Hi Lisa,

Since I'm very lazy when it comes to removing my make up, you really helped me to enjoy removing my make up. I love how you describe the "gentle lifting off" of the make up. So thank you for helping me stay motivated to remove my make up.

    Sorry for my bad english.

  • your soo beautifful!!!!!! :D

  • I'm in love with your hair

  • where do you get all your make-up remover??? and at a cheap price?

  • You look like Rachel McAdams!

  • i use the same gentle and slow method you do, i'm very careful about the skin around my eyes!

  • you look like Natalie Portman :)

I'm not sure if you've mentioned this in another video but you wear the green/yellow rings in practically all your videos, where are they from?

    xx from Switzerland

  • Just had to comment, I've been and bought a cleansing lotion and also eye make up remover today,I'm 35 and I have used wipes for years, just taken my make up off with the new stuff as you showed in the video and I am amazed how much make up was on the cotton wool pads!! There's no way a quick swipe with a wipe was getting all that off before. Can't thank u enough.

  • Is there a product I can get in the U.S. that is similar to the purity cleansing lotion? I looked into ordering the purity lotion online and it was $45 for shipping. A bit much for a $7 product :)

  • Question: If I have oil on my skin at the end of the day, should I blot my skin of the oil first or just apply the makeup removing lotion?

  • That eye make up removal technique is fantastic. Thanks.

  • wow, your eye make up removal was amazing (although I never wear anything on my own) - Thank you for the entire video. XXXXX

  • I just love how UK people speak, love how they say brilliant and more than anythiing i love how they explain things, so easy to follow and there´s something about the way they speak makes you wanna go into all their videos and it just relaxes you. and i now found Lisa and i love the way she explains everything, as well as the Pixiwoo sister, Cosmetics Charlotte, and i could go on for a while. im from Mexico, and i love your accent!

  • nice video!! =)

can't find bioderma in Austria. :-( can anyone help me? =)

  • can you make a tutorial for this look? its so flattering on your eyes and i would love to wear something similar.

  • The Purity Organic range has been discontinued in superdrug shops, are there any other cleansers you can recommend like it and in the same price range?

  • ... you look great without make up:( no fair

  • these are addictive!

  • how come i just found u?

  • is bioderma good for face make up too?

  • is bioderma good for taken off foundations?

  • you look beautiful without make up and with your hair up! i love your nail color too!

  • Can I just say...the tumbnail for this video made my day. <3 Love you!~

  • you are fantastic, i learnt soooo much from you! giant Thank You,Lisa!!!! all the best from Toronto :)

  • this video is an eye opener for sure. i do like to use wipes at the end of the day since my skin is so sensitive it tends to grip the makeup pretty good for me. ive made the mistake of using them after a night out when i have heavier makeup on and when i give my face a quick wash in the morning to wake myself up there is still makeup from the night before. definitely going to try this amazing technique

  • 66,666 views and 6 dislikes hmmmmm

  • Lisa. Your skin makes you look 20-something years old. I'm not kidding (I'm 19! haha). With all the effort you put into using such a gently exfoliating regimen, you definitely deserve to have such pretty, youthful, clear skin. I'll definitely try your eye-makeup removal methods..I can't stand rubbing my eyes either. Thanks!

    Hayley

  • Why do you hate it when people rub their eye make up? I just wanted to say make up is also my passion and its so wonderful to see someone else so passionate as well, I adore your videos and hopefully you will have more videos up with models like on your very last! good luck! :-)

  • @IrinaRamova its not very thorough

  • Lisa,

I recently got and went through a bottle of the Bioderma Sensibio H2O and loved it. But it's hard to get a hold of in the states without paying crazy prices for shipping if you want the large bottle (I prefer to stock up on things I like). I did find that I can get the large Bioderma Abcderm H2O easily. Do you think it would work as well as the Sensibio? Any things that I should consider first? Thanks!

  • Unfortunaltely, the only superdrug in Ireland is miles away from me and they don't deliver to the ROI. Do you have any recommendations from something I could get in Boots perhaps?

  • I use a makeup remover from BEAUTICONTROL its called Lash and Lid Bath. It's Ten dollars, it's not oily. It's for the eye area but I use it for the entire face. It doesnt irritate at all. I bought the Bioderma. I liked it but Shipping and handling is too much for the U.S. The lash and lid bath is as gentle as the Bioderma. You can find it at beautipage (dot) com/spagirlclaudia. Hope I dont get in trouble for posting the website I just want to help the girls that live in U.S

  • love your videos! i don't know if you've heard this before, but i think you look like a mixture of liv tyler and alyssa milano.

  • I love the bioderma makeup remover too!

  • the way you remove eye make up is absolutely magical lol...its so gentle yet so thorough.

  • Your tip on splitting a cotton disk in half to place underneath your eyes before you add a whole soaked disk on top of your eyes to remove allthe makeup and mascara is pure GENIUS. I usually soak a cotton pad and let the product seep in through my makeup first but once I wipe off my eye, I have a giant raccoon eye mess underneath my eyes to deal with. Now with your tip I don't need to worry about that/abuse my undereye skin so much anymore! Thanks so much Lisa

  • This is one of the first makeup removal videos I've seen

  • Can you please recommend some cleanser products and makeup remover products that are available in the U.S.?

  • Do you also use day or night cream?

  • Hi, I have a fair skin with yellow undertone (cool tone) yet I have redness on my cheeks and the erea arounf my mouth is darker than the rest of my face. what tone of foundation would you recommend me to use? I usually choose the lightest color of any brand to match my face.

  • @KANIMETAL have a look at my foundation video...I have a similar problem and there are lots of tips in that vid x

  • ...oops.

i rub my eye makeup to get it off

  • I can't praise your professionalism, knowledge and advice enough! My mother religiously warned me about rubbing the delicate skin under my eyes my entire life but I always see people, including makeup artists, do this! I've had friends for over 20 years who were avid 'rubbers' and even though I'm a little bit older, I always get taken for being much younger. Thank you for spreading the word!

  • I've got a question unrelated to make up. I love your purple and black striped shirt. Where can I find it? Thanks!

  • @calempressthenaks ... Its a Sonia by Sonia Rykiel one x

  • you don't even need foundation ! D: im jealous

  • Can I ask why you would use the oil then the lotion? I usually use my cleansing lotion to remove the bulk of my makeup then I follow with my oil which I rinse with lukewarm water then follow with toner if I feel the need to.

  • Do you think the Bioderma Sebium H2O Solution Cleaner would work as well as a makeup remover as the Crealine? I read that the Crealine is for Normal/Dry Skin and the Sebium is for Oily Skin. I have Oily Skin.

  • @evageline01 I have that one too and mainly use it in high summer when my skin gets oily...I've found it really good x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Thanks! I appreciate you responding. :DDDD

  • @ChelseaThompson89 A washcloth for exfoliating to remove flaky skin is not a bad at all (as long as its a nice soft one). Im mainly against really harsh scrubs x

  • @partyinodessa if its working well and your skin is good then its fine x

  • I am lucky, still so many of your videos to watch. The halfmoon-tip is really smart, I followed your instruction yesterday, works great.

I have been wondering if I can use the cotton pad with the eyemakeup-remover on it and wipe it over my cheeks? Often they are partly still clean the blush and foundation comes off with it in an instant. Or would this be a bad idea, due to any not so suitable ingredient in the eyemakeup-remover?

  • What's your morning routine? Do you wash again?

  • Did you say you wash with cold water or warm ,, sorry couldnt quiet understand my english is not so good lol please let me know ! Do you recommend washing face with cold water or warm, thank you please reply!!

  • do you film your videos in heaven or something? haha

  • WHARE CAN YOU BUY THE KERASKIN OIL?... HAVE BEEN LOOKING AND CANT FIND IT....:( HELP!

  • why dont you like wipes? are they bad for your skin? i was thinking about trying some wipes :S

  • hi lisa! im looking for an eye make up remover and i remembered that u had a video on it :P. I was wondering if this bioderma eye make-up remover is also gentle with ur eyelashes or do they come out when you use it? because ive tried the biotherm 3 in 1 cleanser and it does remove some of my eyelashes every time i use it! i want to add that i dont rub my eyes (i actually use ur technique! :)

  • what kind of pads did you use? mine would never stay put under my eyes since they are more thick and stiff. x

  • I love your nail color.

  • Hello Lisa, I think that Bioderma is amazing :) Is it avaiable in UK? xxx

  • Hi Lisa. As a result of watching this video a few weeks ago I stopped using wipes and face wash and am now double cleansing with lotion, and I love it. My skin feels so much cleaner and looks much better too. And the way you removed the eye make-up without rubbing was a complete revelation! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. x

  • I'm so sad that the Keraskin Esthetics products can't be bought here in the US. I was hoping they would ship internationally :(

  • you've inspired me to follow all these steps, and now when I go to bed I feel so clean and fresh! my skin also feels amazing! thankyou SO much!!

  • Hi Lisa , beside the bioderma to remove eye makeup, is ther other brand that you could recommend that is similar ? luv your vids ! always so helpful!

  • really helpful video! glad i was recommended by gossmakeupartist!

  • omg i'm so in love with you

  • Hello from San Diego via Wayne. I've seen 2 of your videos so far and I'm glad to have found you.

  • Hello Lisa - Wayne Goss recommends and yes, you are lovely!

But I must ask - what kind of adhesive did you use for the individual lashes???

I was shocked SHOCKED to see how easily you got them off.

Also, It's a little bit of torture to have you recommend such nice, inexpensive products that I can't get in America :(

But it's OK - I'll still keep watching.

    Thank you!

  • @AnitaJust aw thanks. I always use 'Duo' (see my individual and full set lash videos for more info on that) glue as I find it the best for sticking AND for removing. Annoying about the products : ( I'll try to mention more US friendly ones too X

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom

Great idea using Duo! Now, why didn't I think of that hahaha!

Yes - I will be watching all of your videos, and I am really impressed with your filming station.

The lighting is great - three sparkly spots in your eyes - and I can see you quite well.

Your website is just lovely. If I may ask, what editing software do you use?

    You work a lot, don't you (*_~)

Well, you are a lovely woman and a fine teacher.

Thank you for your professionalism. It is helping me so much.

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Duo is sold everywhere in the US and cheaper than in Europe. It is sold at Sally Beauty Supply which is everywhere and at all MAC counters there.

  • @AnitaJust All product are not out of reach! check out Amazon.com it worked for me...

  • @mavilla221 Yes, Thank you sweetheart - I do look on Amazon and eBay. Also some UK websites offer international shipping, but then it makes the products not such a great deal anymore. I am tortured equally by Pixiewoo and gossmakeupartist as well - they are all English and recommend great stuff that is local to them. Anyone want to open a Boots chain in America??? haha!

  • you look lovely with red lips can u buy bioderm in the us? it took off all the eye make up i need one of these

  • The technique with eye removal pads is brilliant. I'm a performer by trade, so cakeloads of makeup on my face is a regular thing. Thankyou so much for saving my eyes from nasty, harsh rubbing after a long night. xxSoph

  • that was really helpful, i've always had troubles with removing makeup properly, since it's really hard to get the products you've mentioned in my country, i am wondering what your thoughts on removing make up with Dr hauschka cleansing milk? i use it as a daily cleanser but not as a make up remover as i don't think it removes everything.

  • I made the mistake of going into Bioderma website and could not order from there and then went to ebay and paid £18 for one cleansing solution. I have now found the link via Lisa's website and I can buy two 500ml bottles for £14 x

  • any of those girls ;) ) Just really wanted to give you all of my compliments and respect, and hopefuly i can keep enjoying your videos for a long time! xx

(i'm sorry if my english isn't that good, i'm only 16 and trying hard to speak proper english :) )
