  • Do you know if this would compliment a Paiste Giant Beat 18" Crash/Ride cymbal?

this is such a versatile cymbal i dont want to have to change my crash for it though

  • the original omni :)

  • Great Great Great Great cymbal. I love mine.

  • hate these old ones, all the cymbals sound the same!!!

  • just traded a paiste signature dry ride for this and i love it. crashes a lot better

  • this ride and a different hybrid ride on another video sound completely different. i bought one on ebay i hope it sounds as good as this one!

  • would this be okay to crash on and does it have a very good ping so it cuts thru the mix???? i'm just looking for a zildjian cymbal that has a nice ping to it and nice wash and i already have the zildjian sweet ride.....i dont know which zildjian ride fits my description...any suggestions???? strictly zildjian

  • @GermanEaglePatriot Zildjian A Custom 22" Ride or Medium Ride

  • i have this ride...it gets better as it gets older. Check out the sound on the used one that these guys post

  • that sounds awesome

  • Would this ride be a good allround ride that can be used in many different settings?

  • An ride that got the sound for many music styles is the Zildjian A 21" Sweet ride in brilliant finish. but you should choose it by sound not by looking for an all-around ride. take the ride you likes most. :)

  • @mastertakla

totally, its got a sweet bow for nice ballads, and slightly thinner so you can swing it. Then its got that nice glassy bell to lay into for the funky stuff and you can crash it for the hard core stuff :D. I'd say its amazingly versitile, but i like the sound of this ride with wood tips not nylons here.

  • i'm working on buying one of these off of my friend :D what snare head is that though?

  • I've got one. Versatile cuz its got the different surfaces. It can sound "digital" if play the upper third near the bell, great for accents.

This would be spectacular if offered in a lighter weight, which would give it a beautiful feel. Its not a hard feeling cymbal, just would totally worship it if it felt a little softer.

  • hey i looked for this cymbal on the website and it ain't there

  • Unfortunately this particular cymbal has been sold. We list new cymbals daily, so keep checking back with us.

  • Beautiful cymbal! I'm gonna get this one :D

  • doesn't sound bad as a crash

  • just bought it AS one

  • I bought this cymbal a few weeks ago. It is beautiful. If you see one, pick it up...you won't regret it!
