well I'm sick of going to clubs where the music is kept at the same breakneck pace all night........so boring. Ever hear of variety?? Try Tanya Gardner/Heartbeat and picture yourself in the Paradise Garage..........
In typical fashion, great vocals (NYC PEECH BOYS) dropped over some synth italo cheese beat and everyone loves it. Sound Factory sucked the soul out of everything.
Too slow? Sorry you had to be there.. this was perfect and it took you away. As soon as it hit the "I can't wait no more" that was it! One amazing sexy tune!!!
Reminds me of when I was about 7 or 8 in the back of my dads mercedes 190 cosworth on the way to the seaside. He used to blast Jestofunk, this was one of the last tracks on the album and always couldnt wait for it to come on! memories : )
FANTASTIC...good god, a friend just sent me a link to this by complete chance. This song was forever burned in my memory since 1992 at the Warsaw Ballroom in South Beach. but I never knew what it was...David Padilla would mix this into "Always There" by Incognito....damn those were the days, and damn am I old...
out of curiousity, where do you people live? i live in n.y. and never thought anybody else knew the not-so-popular deep funky stuff. this one of my greatset hits!!!!!
@statenhal NAH . . .it doesn't need to be pitched up the DJ just needs to control the ppl and slow down everything in the venue. The ppl want you to LEAD. Do your job.
@statenhal There are many top, top tunes from back in the day with bpms between 105 and 110. This tune sounds a bit ploddy but check out bocca juniors, neutron 9000 (Loves got a feeling - when the going gets tough mix), Adams & Gee (Chung Kuo Revisited). Sadly neglected gems that never fitted into anyones DJ set because of the low bpms but were bona fide monster tunes. Cheers
@statenhal Although if you;'re playing it in a set which starts with a bit of modern soul / jazz-funk, it's a good lead-in to the more uptempo stuff. I think it's a great tempo for either the early part or the last part of a night.
Never alter the pitch of a song! only when you are mixing it then restore to original pitch after the mix is done i dont want to change the vision of the artist.
and this one is in the right tempo, these are masters of house
not that any of you guys will really care but i gave this track to a girl i didn't really know as an xmas gift and ended up marrying her, i love this band
Pleeeeeeease, does anyone know where the vocal is from: "Come with me, tonight's the night etc..." In many forums they say it is the Peech Boys "Dont make me wait", but I got the 12" version of that one and cant find that part anywhere !!!

Pleeeeeeease, does anyone know where the vocal is from: "Come with me, tonight's the night etc..." In many forums they say it is the Peech Boys "Dont make me wait", but I got the 12" version of that one and cant find that part anywhere !!!
scientificsoulman 4 years ago
all vocal samples are definitely from "don't make me wait", there's an acapella of it if you're lucky you may be able to track down.

NYC Peech Boys have been sampled countless times!!! Jestofunk really did them great justice on this one!!! ...pure bliss!
